love lots of games.... I would have to say Halo 1 and Halo 2, just because I have played the single player so many times, Co-op Camp. many times, and countless LAN parties. This next Tue I am having a LAN party for Halo 3, and I can't wait!

Plus the expansion set:

Been playing these for 7 years now! I loved the original Diablo also, but D2 is simply amazing in terms of scale and replayability.

I've always loved the Command and Conquer series. Haven't played for awhile and last night I downloaded 'The First Decade' which is 7 games onto my laptop. Went thru about 5 missions of the 1st (original) game.

I'm no gamer, evidenced by the fact I only play a 10-year old DOS game called Wolfenstein 3D ... play it a lot though:

You guys can't forget the greatest game of all time...

It was the biggest groundbreaking game probably to hit Sony and ultimately and leaving Nintendo, knocking it from its purch as the greatest gaming system and company.

FINAL FANTASY VII - By far one of the deepest and best stories written along with two of the most popular characters ever created in Cloud Strife and Sephiroth.

I just replayed FF VII a few months ago from start to finish and you are right it is definitley one of the deepest storylines of all time plus it is 3 disks.

Some other old games that I've played again lately are the Original Resident Evil, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time. Now I'm thinking of maybe starting up Metal Gear Solid one more time.

I don't know why but I never liked it as much as the VIII and IX incarnations. It was still great (all three were, I didn't care for FFX, and the SNES ones are a different story for me), the story was pretty good and the game was fun, but I just didn't like the characters and environments as much.

NGB: Master Ninja Mode - pure gaming nirvana and the greatest, most intense experience ever created.

And they are coming out with an NG2 as well, can't wait to see how it plays.

I don't play many video games anymore, but some of my favorites from my childhood and teenage years included Pac-Man, Galaga, Time Pilot and Frogger.

I loved Diablo II but man, after a while you realize there is no skill or thinking involved at all.

Blizzard however, made my favorite game ever: Starcraft + Brood Wars

I was exactly the opposite. I hated FF 8. I don't know why... the trailer rocked but I just didn't get into it.

I thought FF 9 was very good, light hearted. My PS broke right before I beat it and never finished the game.

I didn't ever really get into any of the series after that. I'm stoked that Square is going back and creating some FF7 spin offs like Advent Children and Derge of Cerebrus.

That whole story line is great.

I loved FF2 and FF3 for the SNES. Great games, good story lines.

I would probably rank favorite games ever being FF7, Super Tecmo bowl on the SNES, and then Mike Tyson's punch out. I haven't been into games all that much lately, just starting to get back into it. Xbox live is brilliant.

True, it is a lot of clicking and you can do a lot without thinking, but what drives me is finding items. I stopped playing on BNet a long time ago, and now I just playing single player, self-found only, no trading (no lag, no cheaters, no dupes). I just love trying to find awesome rares and all the unique items out there. Heck, in any RPG like Diablo and D2, my favorite part is finding magical items (rares/set/unique in D2). There are still items in that game I've never found (and probably never will)!
