1st impressions regarding multiplayer. It's f'n nuts. No other way to put it.

Taking a break to eat. This isn't Halo2. It definately feels like Halo 1.

This game feels foreign, in a good way. I've logged tons of hours of halo 2 on the xbox & 360. This game is f'n different. Wow. I love it, but it's a pain in the ass, especially since i wasn't involved in the beta. I fell like a damn noob. Annoying as ****. But, it's worth it.

Like I said before, TY 7-11 and screw camping(and I hate gamestop). Will be back to the game soon, but thought I'd chime in. The elite xbox is running beautifully. I blame the ipod launch 360 for ****ing up. J/K

Get this game. You will not be disappointed.

Got to game stop at 12, was out by 12:30. Not bad at all. Just got done playing, and as expected the multiplayer is the ****. Nothin like driving that big ol elephant at 3 mph haha.

And the thing that really bothers me is single player in Halo. Great story? Its mediocre. The biggest thing Halo has going for itself is the online MP. Personally, I don't get what the big deal is about it, but whatever, people like it.

Now, as I said, the game isn't overrated because theres thousands/millions of people world wide who love this game and spend more time with it than having a social life(the little 14 year old kids who play it so much they know everything about every map). I will say it is overhyped. And I heard all about the biggest event in gaming history for Halo 3 launch starting earlier this year. The hype for this game was INSANE imo. Frankly, they probably could've just remade Halo 1 with the better graphics and more maps online and nobody would've cared.

Campaign should take no longer than 8 hours to get through. I did the first two this morning in about 40 minutes. But it's getting together with the multiplayer with friends that makes it all worth it. And the addition of Forge is what is going to make this the best Halo of the 3.

Bioshock was the ****, too. It does have replayability, though. Just set it aside for a couple months and you'll be eager to get back into it again. I know I'm going to.

And jth...we get it. You don't like Halo. Go wiggle around your Wii remote (which bored me to tears so I sold it without even thinking twice) or put in whatever junk has been thrown out for the ps3. It's obvious you haven't gotten into an evening of some Halo online with a group of friends. It's a blast, especially if you don't take it as seriously as the little bastard kids do.

Before you say I don't have a social life and that I don't get outdoors, I'll let you know that I'm happily married with 3 pets and a house, I work full-time, mow my own yard and am training for my 2nd marathon this December.

I plyed one game of matchmaking last night. Snipers & Shottys on last Resort and got pwnd. I did get 10 kills but probably died as much and our team got handled. Didnt help we had one schmuck who only got one kill.

I got about halfway through Sierra 117 on the campaign before I hd to get to bed. Work today and all really screwed up. My first impressions: Its really cool when the environment reacts to your presence. Leaves, bushes move as you walk by or shoot through them. The water is freaking gorgeous and saved films, the five minutes I toyed with it, is really one of the coolest damn things ever.

The social life line was more in tune for the little kids who spend 10 hours a day playing Halo and master everything about the game, get like 50 kills 0 deaths in online play, and talk about how they pwn3d you. Reminds me of when I was playing Gears of War lol. And so, I wasn't trying to talk bad about you(or anybody else here), but good lord, you'd think parents would limit the time their kids played games.

And I've played Halo with friends, got bored after an hour and wanted to play something else.
Personally, I have seen my interest in gaming diminish because the new games that are coming out bore me. Companies are going away with what made them great(like FF and moving from turn based to real time) or they are just shooters which get pretty repetitive over time. For instance, with Gears of War, I thought that was a pretty fun game. However, the campaign mode bored me so I never played it and the online was fun(although only 8 people per game sucked), but after awhile it just became the same thing over and over until I just stopped playing.

I don't mean to say that Halo is the worst gaming series ever. It can have its moments and be fun, but I just hate it when theres people saying its the best game(s) ever.

Funny, I hate when people clamor on and on about Zelda, MGS and FF. MGS had zero action and the sequels just get worse. Zelda is for 2 year olds and FF is easily the biggest sellout of a game series ever.

You hate when people have an opinion on a game that THEY think its the best. Thats retarded. Pretty much everything you have said in here is retarded. You dont like FPS, you dont like Halo, great.
