Just an FYI to folks... With training camp starting this week, we are moving the forum to regular season mode. This means Broncos & NFL related topics in the main forum, with Off Topics being posted in their appropriate forums.

Shutting off avatars can help save bandwidth so maybe that won't happen. It's a small thing that just might keep the Mane accessible...

The only time I've ever noticed slow servers is during the heavy traffic that goes with gamedays. Otherwise, it seems to run fine for me.

Glad to hear on-season mode is here though. Can't wait for September.

Just a note... There will be a few exceptions as always, including "General" threads dedicated to other popular sports. "General MLB," and "General NCAA Football" come to mind...

I asked this in another thread (about upgrading the server or something), but I don't think anybody replied. Would people clearing out their PM boxes help the server load? I have 40 in there and the most recent is from February. I'm sure a lot of people have over 100 with many being months old. So would clearing out all the old PM's help?

I believe the issue previously didn't come with the 'memory space', which is what pm's take up. The issues have been with the amount of page requests at a single time and the time it takes to load the items on a page request. That is what takes up the bandwidth. Correct me if I'm wrong all you experts out there!
