Maple presents a different texture to the note, and is easier to move around on.

I prefer rosewood too, but natural "twang" is best achieved on maple.

I just picked up The National's "Boxer". Interesting stuff. There are a few high quality tunes on the album.

I just got a band called Skindred. The albums from like '04, but i like it. Its kind of a metal/punk sound. The lead singer to me sounds like the lead singer from Sublime. Has anyone heard of these guys, because everyone i've asked hasn't and i want to know what other people think of them.

Boxer has been one of my favorites this summer. Fake Empire, Mistaken for Strangers, Slow Dance, and Apartment Story are all great songs IMO.

Is that a mixtape or is it in stores. I always liked AZ but you dont hear much about him after the falling out he had with The Firm, good group BTW, AZ, Nas, Foxy Brown, Nature/Cormega with Dr. Dre producing, it doesnt get much better than that for a rap fan. But i got Aziatic a while ago and it was pretty solid. He never had any mainstream success, which is expected in hip hop, but people like him should be heard.

By all rights, I shouldn't like this at all....it has some sampling on it, it's sung in Japanese, it's based on old 60's Petula Clark like pop music and yet...I find myself listening to it more and more these days.

Hey, we're all allowed a guilty pleasure every now and then...and the singer is goregous IMHO.

i got it on amazon so you might be able to find it in stores. its dope, not a bad track on it and if you like az you should check out wordsmith and little brother

Ive only heard of wordsmith, but i have heard some of little brothers stuff, and it wasnt too bad. 9th wonder is a good producer so i might check them out.

Yea, i recall this band. Not bad. If you like them you should check out Candiria and Stuck Mojo as they have a similar feel.
