I wonder how long his ban is for. I wonder if he will come back based on his farewell post.

Slap is banned for 1 week because of his threatening posts towards other posters. Had this been only one offense, it would not be bannable, but since he had previously been warned more than once about his 'tude, he was banned.

I dont know if he deserved it or not, but Slap certainly does get carried away as much or more so than I have and I have now been banned 3 times (yeah **** you taco, Im holding a grudge).

As for him returning, he will. He's just as much of a loser as the rest of us and he cant stay away. If he does, oh well. Where one falls three more will replace him.

He's said some pretty twisted things about me in the heat of the moment so I'm kind of glad to see that he isn't above the rules.

Slap is tough, he can do the time. Hell, he can do 24 hours standing on his head.

I once told a Judge , i could do 3 weeks standing on my head , so he said I could have 3 more weeks to get back on my feet , by now I am pissed and said , give me 3 more weeks to figure out why I wanted to do time standing on my head in the first place ....... and he did ......I got out on good behavior , but that was the last time I asked a Judge for more time

Spider only you would actually ask a judge for more time. I would have let you go just because you actually asked for more.

I don't know about that. From what I've been able to gather our resident tough guy is on full blown tantrum mode.

Never understood the mentality of being a proud self proclaimed internet a-hole.

Your description is just one color in the kaleidoscope that is Slap.

He also starts excellent threads, tries to contribute at least once in every (reasonable sane) thread, he torments mock and ignores/insults the trolls. And he has excellent taste in all things sports and entertainment. Anybody who loves the Broncos, hates Barroid, and loves classic rock and Living Dead films is thumbs up by me. He can be vitriolic in attack, sure, but he's also intelligent and funny. And he's tops on the board at picking unusual upsets, like the Colts at 13-3 Baltimore after they looked lackluster in beating the Chefs at home in the Wild Card.

I saw him get super-offensive only once in my towo years here ... about a year ago. Yesterday, I think he was getting a bit testy in the 16/40 year old marriage thread, but I didn't see anything out of the ordinary ... was it threatening GB like we're hearing, something non-public maybe? Or perhaps related to the new TJ thread/warning about bypassing filters ? ? ?

Those of us who call him a friend deserve to know at least how long it is.

I've been too busy to follow or even care about what is going on but when the buzz of the board is about a banning I must admit I was trying to figure out who it was. My point was a guy should be able to handle a 24 hr banning without having to create new accounts and be a bigger pain in the ass to the mods. My guess is he isn't coming back based on his message board suicide comment. "See you at invesco someday".

I guess some guy with a pipe will be showing at my place now. lmfao I always enjoy a good internet threat.

Oh ... kinda like a more malevolent version of Miss Jen?

What else did he do Blueflame, and is he okay to return next Sunday?

Let's just say there was a lot more to the story than meets the eye. As to a possible return... that won't be my call. And frankly, I'm glad of that.

I back and thank the mods for doing a job that is always no win. I think that who ever started the Garcia the Punk account should be banned for 6 months. If someone is that immature to start that kinda of crapola, should not be allowed here.

Meck, Hire me, I will protect you from said lead pipe
