![]() It's been a lot of fun doing research and stuff on these guys. At least for me, I've learned a LOT I didn't know about older generations. And since I'm not in school yet this summer, I've got some extra free time on my hands.
Also, I have a new appreciation for the old school section they have in SLAM now. This month is Bob Pettit. |

![]() If you think 6-5 Oscar Robertson is going to be able to guard some of the elite smaller guards I think you might be mistaken
but then again i dont ever think of the Big O as a defensive stopper, probably my bad |

![]() OK, I usually go old school in my picks, but this guy's ability to put the biscuit in the basket is too great too ignore. If you project his stats out over a whole career the hall of fame is a given.

![]() This guy has everything but a winning pedigree, and had he had that I would have taken him in the last round. Garnett's lack is where my other guys have their strengths, so he can hang on the coattails of Russell and Cousy.
"The Big Ticket" Kevin Garnett is a versatile defensive force augmented with a scrappy and varied offensive game. He has a nice jump shot, is aggressive with put-backs, and can score on on the block. With this selection, I think its safe to say that no one will outrebound or defend the post like the Biochem Nerd Parade. K E V I N G A R N E T T ![]()

![]() Dammit. I was hoping KG would continue to slide. llama has a pretty good interior D going with KG and Russell. Couple of great shot blockers. Sorry for getting on your case Jens, I just did not want someone that was asleep at the wheel getting a good pick *cough*Ludo*cough* (Amare over KG?!) Anyway, great pick llama, that's some of the best value in this entire draft.
