Mets have been sucking lately but Wright has a homerun in each of the last 4 games including today.

CC Sabathia pitches another 9 inning shutout but the game is still 0-0 in the 11th between Indians and Reds.

So Torres is on the 15 day DL, Hogan. Does that mean he was put there voluntarily or does he really have an injury. On other news, my Fake LA Angels of the real city they reside in Anaheim took 2 out of 3 from the St Louis Angels. They signed Troy Percevil to a potential major league contract to make 4 former 2002 World Champs on another team. Angels only have 6 left I believe.

It's real....Torres integrity cannot be questioned and it goes a long way in explaining why he was tanking in the games he cost the team.

Look for Duke, Maholm & Sharpless to be sent down and Paulino to be benched shortly.

The Pirates are coming out of Yankee Stadium a team in total disarray....I fully expect a 15 to 20 in a row game slide before it's all over. I'm catching the series against the Nats at the end of the month in the Burgh, that's when they'll come out of it...but it'll be too late as usual, even for being in the Comedy Central.

This is where Major League umpires make zero sense.

On Friday night, Alfonso Soriano hit three home runs. The Braves supposedly weren't too pleased with the way he stood at home plate and admired his shots (the B*rry B*nds pose which no one ever takes him to task for). Tim Hudson then plunked Soriano with the first pitch of the next game on Saturday, nothing happens. Soriano was crossing the diamond after an out later in the game and said something to Hudson, nothing happens. No warnings, nothing.

Fast forward to tonight. The umpires issue no warnings before the game. Ted Lilly strikes out the first two batters he faces and then plunks Edgar Renteria. Lilly gets ejected for it. Remember, there were no warnings issued, but Lilly gets tossed immediatly. Now why does Lilly get tossed when Hudson, who was obviously throwing at Soriano, get nothing?

But wait, there's more.

Renteria goes to first, takes off for second on the first pitch and reaches out and deliberately smacks the Cubs shortstop in the face while he was sliding into second. This happens with an umpire standing three feet away and nothing happens.

Ridiculous.

Man, Rockies are playing some good ball. Pitching is doing decent enough, the hitting needs to get there though.

The Braves are on the east coast but in the south, only the north east matters when it comes to baseball unless your name is Barry Bonds.

I haven't watched espn all day but I bet if I turn it on they'll be talking about how the yanks are turning things around and picked up 5 or so games on the red sox and other crap like that.

Geez dude, I bet a lot of people haven't seen it and it might not even make a Sportscenter highlite. If you can find a clip for me so I can see it I'll tell you what I think.

Sorry, must have missed the part where I said that expected everyone to answer immediatly. Thanks for assuming, though.

I wanted to see what people thought of the play and whether or not criticism for plays like that are reserved for certain individuals only. That's all.

Yes, you wonder about this and i wonder if the front office will do anything on some of the players. You know nothing will happen to the Umpire staff.

Of course they did but in all fairness, we have heard from ESPN how bad the Yanks have been. It doesnt matter to me. Once they hit Anaheim in August, they will know who their Daddy is. The story will be if Red Sox let them be their Daddy once again.
