Absolutley sad call on the hook on chelios a bush league ref wouldn't even fall for that move.

Wow, great ending to that game. Even if the freaking Ducks had a golden gift for that previous game, they earned it tonight. The Red Wings looked like a shell for the first 40 minutes tonight.

Congrats Calijohn, but I'll be rooting for the Sens!

Agree there bro. I was actually impressed at how well the Red Wings withstood the Ducks physical style. If they can do it, surely a younger and stronger Sens team can take em right?

Wonder where The Beast ends up next? He did add a new dimension of ugly to those red jammies but somehow I doubt they keep him around. And 257 year old Flopinator can go with him.

If you mean the one at the end of the game where Chelios held onto the stick of Moen under his wing clip was ticky tacky but Chelios has been playing twice as long as some of those refs. He is probably 10 years older too.

Ottawa have the top 3 scorers this postseason so it better be another Giggy like playoff series. The PP was horrible this last series. Hats off to the Wings on finding a way to clobber the Ducks on this but as the Yankees said to the Bad News Bears, "We still think you suck!" NOTE: Talking smack on the fact we like to knock out the WIngs every playoff series.

Yep, moen even let go of his stick while chelios skated ahead (it looked like he had a spear in his back) but mr ref still made the call (pretty sad) IMO i really don't care how long chelios has been playing it was a cheap move to gain an advantage (iam glad it failed)

"A nightmare," Ducks forward Teemu Selanne called it.

Selanne and Pronger ripped the refs for calls in the third period, when the Ducks were penalized three times, the Red Wings none.

Said Selanne, "When you have to beat the referees, too, it's tough."

Added Pronger, "When we're getting penalty after penalty on pretty weak calls, a lot of guys were talking about conspiracy theories."
