40 pounds in 95 days seems reasonable but might be pushing it a bit. That's about 13 1/2 weeks. You should aim for about 2-3 pounds a week in weight loss on average (some weeks you may lose nothing and others you may lose 5). Slow weight loss is the best way to retrain your body into a comfort zone with the new weight. So, with an average of 2-3 pounds a week your weight loss would be 26-40 pounds in 95 days. Maybe make your goal more like 33 pounds in 95 days?
Keep in mind also that in order to drop one pound of fat you have to burn 3500 more calories than what you take in.
