PShop .gif gurus, little help. - The Orange Mane

Ok, this is the avatar of a member here, and I want to use it as a background for my phone.
I would be greatful if someone could make this image fit in 240x320 with a black background. If possible, GREAT! If not, thanks for trying

It's gonna take a bit of time to do justice to the image with the background changed to black (every single "extra" white pixel has to be eliminated or it looks "tacky")... and the animation has 45 frames. Because of this, it's gonna be a huge filesize (in bytes), too... it can be done but will take longer than just an afternoon.

Oh, alright. I don't know how much room I want a background on my phone taking up, I only have ~100mb and I store music on it as well.
Don't let it eat up so much of your time. If it's gonna take that long, forget about it.

Resizing it (and leaving the background white) would be easy... it's "cleaning up" the image enough for the logos (with drop shadows) to look right on a black background that would take time. Before the resize, the gif is 175 x 131... and 142 kb... after the resize to 240 x 320, you'd be looking at probably 250 kb....
