Default vick needs to go to prison(M)

amidst all the draft hype, this story seems to be on the back burner, and it shouldnt be.

66 dogs? and he didnt know?

bull****.

66 pit bulls, all of which couldve been in a loving home, and instead were starved and abused for the pleasure of these sick pukes.
for Gods sake put a stop to it. you wanna make an example?
here's your chance.

I agree 100% but for that to happen someones gonna have to talk.

He should be put into a cage and treated just like those dogs were. Until he starves to death.*

*assuming he did it

Since it is a felony I'm guessing his cousin will sing like a bird when all said and done. The fact the Humane Society folks are talking about the fact they were given previous tips about his involvment in dog fighting will certainly hurt his case also.

Given how much money he has I'm guessing he will skate but this is certainly an opportunity for Roger Goodell to really make a statement. This rises to the level of Pac Man Jones in my book and possibly exceeds it. The herpes infested sack of **** should get a life ban from the league if there is decent certainty that he even knew about it let alone supported it. It is his house and if he even knew what was going on then he is just as guilty in my book. I would turn in my best friend if I knew he was doing that crap even if it wasn't on my damn property.

I wonder if the property in question could be seized by the State as a Public Nuisance and sold at an auction?

you know, thats the 1st thing that crossed my mind as well.
then i got to thinking.

you know what might be better?

put him in a room with MY 2 pit bulls for a few hours.
let him see the adorable looks in their eyes. let him see how they come sit in his lap and rest their heads on his chest.
let him see how truly sweet these dogs are.
if he has ANY heart at all, he'd be forced to see them for what they are, and what they are is wonderful loving members of our family.

......and THEN put him in prison.

I'm with all of you and the first time since I started watching football I wouldn't feel bad at all if the creep got hurt. Tit for tat.

.....and like nappy said, this is a guy that ALREADY was rumored to have taken part in dog fighting.
its not like this is completely out of the blue.

this ABSOLUTELY is pacman jones kinda stuff. its worse.
difference is that mr. mexico sells alot more jerseys than ms. pacman.

God willing the nfl AND legal system will make an example out of him. the fact that he is rich and famous shouldnt give him a pass. i think we've all had about enough of that.

Agreed

For him to play stupid and act like he didnt know because he wasnt there? Please - how stupid do you want us to think you are Ron Mexico? You must want us all to think you are borderline retarded or something?

You have a big house - let your pot dealer live there - and have NO further visits to the property? Come on now guy - who is going to buy that?

Its almost insulting how Vick is trying to play dumb here. I dont think he understands the gravity of the situation?

66 dogs - how many counts will be brought up? 1 count for each dog neglect/cruelty. Maybe 3-4 confirmed dogs in fights (under estimate)...looking at 70+ felony counts - easily.

Think pot dealer will just sit there and take the fall for Vick?

I guess we will see

i had to stop reading the story cause it made my stomach turn (you gotta remember i was reading it while my 2 pits were cudling next to me with their innocent "i live to love you" eyes) but once i found out it was SIXTY SIX dogs AND "equipment" (i can only imagine what that means) used in dog fighting, i had seen all i needed to see.

if anyone believes the "i didnt know" excuse then theyre as stupid as vick is for saying it.
he's starting to sound like a 10 year old.
"i didnt know mommy. thats my friends pack of cigs and porno mag. i didnt know he put it in my back pack."

uh huh. sure little ronny. mommy mexico doesnt buy it, and neither do we......i hope.

Tough ****, he is not going to jail so you just got to deal.

People seem more upset about the treatments of dogs then they do human beings. It's crazy.

so let me get this straight.

because some humans are treated badly, that makes it okay to treat dogs badly.
further, because vick has money and MAY be able to dodge this, that means we should pretend it didnt happen and stay quiet.

is that your stance?

wow. youre a real winner.

Jail seems a little too kind to me for people who fight dogs. I know when thye broke a ring in Mississippi that all the dogs were euthanized because they were deemed as a danger and un-adoptable. Vick is the scum of the earth. I hope all Atlanta fans boycott the team until he is forced from the league. All fans of road teams should follow suit. If the league is losing $ when he shows up to play, his career will be very short lived. As for the $ he already has.........??. I would say fine him about a $1 Million per dog. Then they could be cared for and not put down.

I've never actually wished injury on another player but I hope some dog loving LB knocks him completely out of the game forever.
