Two years later, this club moved to KC to become the Kings.

It's time to crown an Official Team of Pain and Suffering once and for all. And to do this we need a formula. We started with our colleague Jim Caple's idea that real suffering only begins after 25 years without a championship. As Jim wrote, "Why use 25 years as a standard? Because a quarter century is enough time for a fan to be born, build layers of scar tissue rooting for one team and then pass on this anguish to another generation."

So any team that has won a championship in the last 25 years shall not be considered (yes, even the Kansas City Royals). And any franchise that has relocated in the past 25 years shall not be considered (like the Nationals, because Nationals fans don't really care about what happened in Montreal). Likewise, teams like the Expos, which no longer exist in that city, shall not be considered.

The Chiefs are ok. The asterik wasn't in the dictionary way back then. I watched their Superbowl on black & white TV. Haven't seen them hold the Lombardi in color yet.

Hey, Podloak is a nice guy...my dad took me to his house about a mile away and how he knew this is baffling. He signed a football that I gave to my kid along with all the Purple People Eaters and he basically shrugged. Oh well.

He's an anouncer now and one of the only Chefs I respect.

Oh, I forgot the obligtory beat down...

Don't you just love the black and white photograph?

Default Worst NFL road trip for 2007

For every must-see game, however, there is ... umm, the Detroit Lions' schedule? We kid, Matt Millen, we kid! Your Lions only make a few appearances on the worst NFL road trip for 2007.

Week 15: Tennessee at Kansas City

There is nothing like watching Damon Huard in a late-season game spurring his team to a top-five pick.
