Something one of the young men said really struck me:

Paraphrasing: "If not for the resources of our parents to defend us, who knows what would of happened to us..." It's estimated that the families had allready spent 3 million to defend them. Just because you can scrape to send your kid to Duke doesn't mean you have money to burn. Parents scrape savings to send them to such a prestigious private University.
God only knows what the legal bills would of been if this fiasco had gone to trial.

Now the hunter will be the hunted. The DA is going to have to face the bar and faces possible punitives or even disbarment. The fact the Attorney General called them "innocent" rather than "insufficient evidence" doesn't bode well for this cowboy. Wait that's Imus...heh.

It breaks my heart to hear that a kid was crying and talking in his sleep. I can guarantee you that they are going to clean out that zealous idiots assets then go after the state. First witness should be the Attorney General.

Nifong deserves jail , but I would love to see the families of the accused , sue the piss out of the S.O.B. for recovery of legal fees ............ What she did was wrong , but Nifong is the one that really made these boys lives a living hell .....

If she accused you of rape, and essentially ruined your life for at least 2 years but likely 5-10 years, would you feel teh same way?

There is no excuse anyone can make for here actions and the damage is not minimal and no where close to that. She should be in jail.
