Looking hard at this one... Chi town is a great city. Go get me some Gino's East and watch the boys by the lake. Any suggestions on hotels? I figure it's probably better to stay by the airport and take the train into town.

Just booked in at Hyatt McCormack Place for that weekend a mile from Soldier Field.

I hate the schedule. I wanted this one but it is way to freaking cold to fly to this one. I sooooo bad wanted this roadie. To those like Bronco Billy, keep the party flowing. Think AZ tailgate!

This is the day before my birthday. It would be a great birthday present to fly to Chicago for a Bronco game! Unfortunately, I am broke and can't afford it. No free miles or money for airfare, tickets, hotel, nothing.

I'll be there. If anyone is going to get group rates let me know. We will need between 5-9 tickets. But I might just opt for the big dollar ones close to the field. But I will be there, it's only an hour drive for me.

frick! i'll be the newby at my new job and may not be able to get Monday off due to hunting season. This has now turned into a wait and see. I'm still likley in. I can prolly get a red eye train sunday night and sleep then.

Nice!!! I've been waiting for the Broncs to come to town since I moved out here 3 years ago. Definitely going with a group. I guess I'll have to cut the Thanksgiving trip home short. Mom won't be happy about that one.....oh well

BTW, we're planning to start trying for kids this summer. Practice is going well!

I was actually trying to help a good friend at work find another job. Long story, but she's really looking into being a flight attendant - especially with Southwest. She needs something with flexibility in case she needs to move elsewhere, like an airlline. She has a statistics / accounting background. If anyone can help with any leads, Crowpointer!!! , I will forever be in your debt. She's one of the hardest working people I know and I would put whatever reputation I have on the line to vouch for her. (Not that that's worth anything!) So, please let me know if anyone could help.

Ol number 7's hotel is probably the closest to Soldier Field. Any hotel with "McCormick Place" in it is as close as you're going to get. There are other hotels in the Loop, which is where most of the restaurants / bars are. But McCormick Place and Soldier Field are about a mile south of The Loop (Downtown). I will start looking into hotels. Oh, the nicer hotels are on the Magnificent Mile ( 300 N. - 900 N. Michigan Ave.) in case you're tring to make-up with your wife for taking her to Chicago in November!!! This is where all the shopping is.

You know, BCJ, the temperature on the Saturday after Thanksgiving was about 65 here last year! Of course it was 17 the following Saturday! It's okay though, I understand (panzy)! I know you'll be rooting us on in San Diego (chicken S&!t !!!!)

I alread had you on the list for tickets. They might be hard to come by since they made the Super Bowl last year. 5 to 9 tickets together is going to be tough!

The papers last year mentioned the difficulty with parking - especially RVs - for Bears games. I'll try to grab an RV pass as soon as I can. (I have experience from the AZ game last year!!!)

There are three options for parking the RV that immediately come to mind.

1) My wife and I live in a condo in the west 'burbs about 20 minutes south of O'Hare Airport (near the I-55 / I-294 intersection).

2) I used to work at Comiskey Park and still have some connections there. I could ask if you could park there in the Loading Dock - its locked.

3) My parents have two driveways. The practically live on the IN - IL state line about 5 miles south of US 30. You could park the RV there. They also have an extra bedroom. I'll ask if they mind you guys staying over. If you bring them a case of beer, they probably let you stay a week. If you cook my Dad that animal in your avatar and throw in some of those shrimp from Cleveland, they'll probably adopt you! (They're in there 40's.)

Oh, my wife and I, with some other Bears fans, will be attending this game by the way! First regular season game in Chi-town since '93 and only the second since '84.

You know I love you Broncocalijohn but I gotta agree with BB on this one.If you are going to find an excuse don't make it the weather. This thing has all the earmarks of a sick game. You have BB doing all the legwork making sure the tailgate is up to the usual standards. If I was a Bronco fan this would have been my number one road trip option, no joke. I was even hoping that this was going to be on the same weekend as the BC Notre Dame game in South Bend so I find an excuse to go myself. Buy the plane ticket from Orange county to Chicago. Around October go the NFL shop.com and buy a nice Bronco cold weather coat. Billy will handle the rest. (hell he'll even throw in another shared hotel room with Ludo ) But whatever you do don't get mad at me and hold back those Plaza 54's from me in the future if the Pats are in SD.

Speaking from experience, those Plaza 54's are nice seats
