I listened 2 hours of the kids rap , them black eye peas and my humps is something else ....... But then my kids had to listen to 2 hours of Dads kind of music ......... Kids loved it ......My 5 year old loves Elvis ......

If you throw on some Elvis when he was actually trying, the stuff is pretty hard to beat. My nephew started bad mouthing Elvis once a few years back after seeing one of his cheesy movies...he thought it was all that corny stuff you usually hear...I put on The Sun Sessions and straightened him out on that.

Spider - if you can get your kids to understand good music is good music - it doesn't matter on the genre - they'll be fine.

What is Dad's kind of music?

Did you know if you jumped on a load of oilfield pipe going sixty-five per hour
and fingered them just right you could play your kind of music?

My kids love rap and hip hop but they also love my music. Just like my mom playing jazz, Ruth Olay, etc. that I grew to love, I played my music. They love Al Green, Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, a lot of Motown.

I blasted them some Lynard , Elvis , Country , The Eagles , etc .......
