beckett looked alright tonight, his 2 seamer had a lot of movement and his changeup was real nice. I think it was kind of tough to get a feel for his curve with the cold weather.

Sure the guy is going on 81 or 82, but he's an ageless former world series MVP. And a hall of fame broadcaster. The new guy the Madres hired to spell him is about as exciting as watching water boil.

I've finally flipped over to the Madres game... I can't take it anymore.

I've got MLB.tv again this season. Well worth the $15 bucks per month...

I agree with that. Been able to watch the Rockies games here, and the quality is amazing IMO. Plus the archives, you can rewatch any previous game. Awesome value IMO.

It still blows my mind that Seattle thought they could start the season with Jose fricking Vidro in the three hole. Most teams construct their lineups around the number three hitter. They don't find a retread second baseman, who's hit 30 homers in his last 1200 ABs, and plug him in as their DH.

We get like 4 Red Sox games here this week (tomorrow plus Sunday @ Texas, Tuesday v Seattle and next Friday v the Angels) but none of the games is scheduled to be a Dice-K start by my calculations. Dammit.

I really cannot wait to see Matsuzaka v the Yankees at either Fenway or even better Yankee Stadium.

eHahahaha yea I know. Because Mike "****ing Idiot" Hargrove likes adding "veteran presence" to his lineups. The guy they traded for that chunk of scrap metal is a better hitter (though they both have the injury risk), and he's waaaay younger.

Couldn't believe that craptastic trade...

Its only $90 for a full season and playoffs.

I'm trying it out right now, its ok, but I might just go with MLB Audio. Wasn't real cool with the Royals broadcasting team today, with Audio I can get every Sox game and will have their radio crew for some real Red Sox relevant discussion, not a pair of guys in awe of an honest to god good team.

Such lines as "can a guy really have a .92 ERA in baseball today? Papelbon did it" and "The Red Sox are just looking to keep it close and let the bullpen close the door on you late in games". Morons.
