TMNT (Semi-Spoiler)

As I'm sure a lot of people have, I grew up with these characters. I was in love with the series, the movies, and especially the video games, (the original one for NES). But was i the only one disappointed with this movie? I really wanted to see Bee-Bop and Rocksteady, that rabbit, the wolf, that Brain guy. None of the original characters were in it. The four turtles, splinter, Casey Jones and April were, but even the foot clan had different outfits. And their major fight was with statues that i have never heard of before. Overall i would say it was ok, probably a 7 out of 10, but i was very disappointed.

For some reason, the movies have never mentioned Krang(the brain dude), he is the one I believe who is responsible for Shredder having such advanced technology. Also, did you watch the movie? The Shredder wasn't in it because he was "dead". I think a major fault with the Turtles is they really have only 1 or 2 major original villains, Krang and Shredder. Bebop and Rocksteady were sort of minions. And for Bebop and Rocksteady, they would have to have a background story with them because not everybody will know about them.
I thought it was awesome myself. Of course every old schooler who grew up with the original cartoon and movies wanted to see some of the old, but I thought it was awesome.

i guess after you explained it in reasonable terms, i kind of like it more. I mean i grew up on them too, I played the video games, collected the action figures, so i guess thats y i was so disappointed no one was really in it. But for what it was, i would say it was very good. And plus at the end they did say they would have to do battle with some familiar enemies, so maybe I'll get what I have been wishing for.
