Just don't worry too much about the mechanics right now. That will be set out in excruciating detail (in a sticky) on the 6th.

And all the "tie-breakers" and all that.

For those of you who are shy about sub-machine guns, we will also have cheaper Saturday Night Specials - more easily concealed under trench coats.

You'll all have a couple of voting options to entertain you.

For now, the main thing is probably not to be the poor sucker who gets ganged up on in Round 1.

That would be really embarassing to finish 31 out of 31.

Sounds to me like the person that is 31 out of 31 has quite an extensive role in the entire game, yes?

Anyway, It seems to me that the backstabbing has subsided as mobsters tend to look at you face to face when they blow your brains out. They want you to know exactly WHY they are turning your brains into mush!

I can respect that. Seems more honest....right?

Well, yes and no. Being the Jailhouse King (or Queen) as the case may be, will probably be pretty boring for awhile. Given the number of bullets flying around on the street, there probably won't be too much action in the Pokey.

And, for all we know, the Jailhouse K/Q might just lose interest in the game and wander off. Or might demand bribes of some sort that no one s willing to pay.

But as time goes on, and as the pen starts to fill up with desperate and relatively defenseless cons, there will be opportunities for paybacks.

I guess the main thing is that you don't want to be on the bad side of the person who bites the dust in Round 1. It would be best to try to set up the victim and make it look like others are responsible (while you remain the victim's "friend" who promises to avenge them.) Or, if you can't be friends, at least try not to be too high on their "unfinished business" list.
