Im not sure.

All I know is I believe in heaven and God, but that doesnt mean we are alone necessarily.

All I know is that the Universe is pretty huge for us to be alone, right?

I don't know. I'd think it should be so arrogant to believe that'd we'd be alone.

We cannot possibly be alone ... not a chance. But the FORMS of intelligent life that exist elsewhere must be unimagineably different. After all, look at the astonishingly varied life forms on just this planet - and we all evolved in the same gravity, atmospheric pressure, temperature variables, etc.... What kind of intelligent creature would have evolved on a planet with say - a mere 110% our mass (gravity)? Or a mere 90%? And those are just minor variables. What about 140%? 65% And astmospheric pressure would cause unimagineable variants in life forms. Jabba the Hut comes to mind.

And there's another variable we forget: T I M E. If the entire history of intelligent homo-sapiens on Earth was placed on a template of 24 hours, electricity was only harnessed at 11:59 pm. And using that same "50,000 years = 24 hours" template, there were several months' worth of life on Earth before homo sapiens developed intelligence at 12:01 a.m.

If aliens have ever visited Earth, it would have been like winning the "Lottery of every Lottery winner ever" for intelligent life to have been present when they arrived. That's one thing Thor Heyerdahl had wrong, and Erich van Daniken and Graham Hancock had right: visiting astronauts MUST have been ancient. Pre-antiquity by all odds.

If that doesn't boggle the mind, try this:

The Sun is one of 200 Billion stars in our galaxy. There are 180 Billion known galaxies.

The MICRO-world is even more mind-boggling:

If the entire volume of a simple noble gas atom was placed against a template of a wall-less 14-story building, 1/2 city block wide and 1/2 city block deep, that atom's nucleus (which accounts for 96% of the its mass) would be the size of a raisin, hovering on about the 7th floor. The 2-5 electrons orbitting that raisin would have the mass of tiny pebbles or perhaps grains of sand. The remainder of the atom's mass is space. Just plain space.

"IN SEARCH OF"

See Leonard Nimoy as he ponders the possible existence of the Loch Ness monster, Sasquatch, the toe eyed man and Godzilla reborn.

BroncoBuff,

I'm a student of Hermetics. "As Above, So below" - Indian, Chinese, and "western" alchemy consists of similar principles. They have often believed as such. It's why symbols are so important.

Of course, this song does a good job too:

Modest Mouse › Third Planet

Everything that keeps me together is falling apart/Ive got
This thing that I consider my only art of ****ing people over.
My boss just quit the job says hes goin out to find blind
Spots and hell do it.
The 3rd planet is sure that theyre being watched by an
Eye in the sky that cant be stopped.
When you get to the promise land your gonna shake that
Eyes hand.
Your heart felt good it was drippin pitch and made of wood.
And your hands and knees felt cold and wet on the grass to me.
Outside naked, shiverin looking blue, from the cold
Sunlight thats reflected off the moon.
Baby cum angels fly around you reminding you we used
To be three and not just two.
And thats how the world began.
And thats how the world will end.
A 3rd had just been made and we were swimming in the
Water, didnt know then was it a son was it a daughter.
When it occurred to me that the animals are swimming
Around in the water in the oceans in our bodies and
Another had been found another ocean on the planet
Given that our blood is just like the atlantic.
And how.
The universe is shaped exactly like the earth if you go
Straight long enough youll end up where you were.
