Default Off Season TRIVIA Q & A

Okay. Waiting for Super Bowl. Flex your NFL think muscles.

And STAY OFF THE INTERNET ya dang geekcheats!

There are only five teams in the NFL (including AFL stats) who have never had the first overall choice in the NFL draft. Name the teams.

What Bronco offensive lineman played in 166 consecutive games from 1981-1992?

What Bronco defensive back was in the starting lineup for 156 consecutive games 1971-1981?

Which Bronco played in the club record 172 consecutive games from 1985-1995?

Who was the first Bronco player to average more than 5 yards per rush in season? (Minimum 100 Carries)

How many times did Terrell Davis gain 100 or more yards in a single quarter from 1995-2002?

Who is the sixth leading rusher in Bronco Club History?

These are all dicey toughies!!! No internet cheating eh??

Is Jon Keyworth the 6th leading? I'm not gonna look it up like requested.

The 5 YPC thing I know Floyd did it in 1969, but I am not sure of anyone did before that?? Floyd was gonna have an off the charts year but he got ver banged up and missed several games.

Then are we saying the Broncos since both of their 1st overalls were in the AFL draft and not the NFL draft?

Actually the Broncos are saying it:

The Broncos have never had the first overall choice (through 2005) in the NFL draft, nor did they ever select number one in the AFL. What are the other four NFL teams (who you named --Baltimore, Carolina, Seattle and Jacksonville) never to have chosen at the top of the draft board?

-- Is our team lying to me on their trivia??!!

In the 80's, what player led the Broncos in both in rushing and receiving in the same season?

Did Marlin really tote the rock more than 100 times in a season??

He could be the only other answer before Floys averaged 5.0 in 1969. Marlin must've done it in '68.

The Bronco trivia doesn't have Floyd as one of the guys who averaged more than 5 yards per rush?? And it isn't Marlon.

Technically because they haven't picked 1st overall in the NFL draft, they are right on that, but they have picked 1st overall twice in the AFL draft. It's just kind of a misleading statement for them to say they've never had the top pick overall, when they have, it's just in the draft that no longer exists.

Well then the trivia thingie you got is wrong.

Floyd averaged 5.0 yards per carry in 1969, I do know that. On about 170 carries.

I will look just this one up. Just this one, ...............promise.

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/den1969.htm

OK, only 146 carries.
