Another 8-12 inches expected in Denver area this weekend, with temps hovering around zero.
I've still got eight foot drifts in the front yard. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ? aaaarrrrgggghhhhI have a rental house over on the west side of town that's 27 miles from where I live. The rental is vacant right now which means not only do I have to shovel my own driveway over and over and over and over and over oops got carried away but I also have to make the trek over to Littleton and shovel over there! I am not kidding, I am wondering if I'm going to survive this winter! *&#(^*(@*&^#^%&*#()_#&&$#*$(&^#$ I am in desperate need of a sugar daddy. |

Don't look at me. I just got kicked out of a sugar daddy discussion group on grounds of being a smart-ass.

Damn - I don't think I can justify a road trip before the weekend. I was going to start one of those "please keep my wife in your thoughts" threads. I do believe she is certifiable nuts. The first snowflake that falls and she is out there with her shovel. She even shovels a trail in the back yard so that the dog (110 pound Lab) is comfortable when he takes a dump. We finally got up to Buena Vista this weekend and she insisted that she (yea- spell she with a w) needed to shovel the driveway by hand rather than call someone. About 150 yards long and about 2 ft of snow. If we get another foot this weekend, she's shovelling it herself. I can hardly move today.

I "used" to love it when it did the normal "hit and run", but this shiat is getting ridiculous. It's not to bad when you just get snowbound in your house, but I have to make a trip to the boondocks of Parker every second day.
I've felt like I was in Barrow Alaska on two trips down there. Just me and the snow drifts, and no humans within sight although the rabbits are starting to approch me looking for handouts. I've already surpased 58" in the past month, I guess another foot or two wont kill me, but I may not be able to remove the christmans lights from the bushes until june! |

Good Lord, some people have all the luck. Why can't all this snow come here? We'd love it. It'd be way more appreciated than it is there.

Anyways, back on topic... Any word on when the snow is mostly going to hit? I'm trying to fly into Denver on Friday morning.

It's supposed to be in the 50's today and Thursday, so maybe we'll get some melting before the next one hits.

Oh, great. My flight into Denver lands at 8:30 am friday morning. I can deal with the cold, but if another flight of mine was cancelled i'd go nuts.

I'll take your snow if you take our wind!
It's absolutely rediculous. 60-100 mile an hour winds. And they've been coming and going for weeks now. They had to shut down the mountain because they winds were blowing people off the chair lifts! |

Most of my outdoor Christmas decorations are at least partially frozen in the snow. At this rate I won't get them down till April. Maybe I'll just leave them up. Good news is that it has crushed a bush/tree that I hate, but my wife hasn't let me cut down. No choice now. |

Crap the down side here in Memphis it is too wet to mow over the weeds. And the weather normaliation adjustment for gas bills goes up b/c it is freaking too warm. We now have two days of below 32 degreees and then 70 degrees. I got my box of sweater still in the floor b/c of the lack of constant temps to allow me to switch from summer to winter clothes. Although I predict an ice storm in March for us in Memphis. We are over due.
