Some of the comments in this thread are pretty comical. It's obvious a lot of people have no idea what type of player AI is, how he's matured over the years, and what he's going mean to this city and team.

Anyways, he used to be my favorite player of all time in any sport that didn't play one of my teams. Now Allen Freaking Iverson plays for the Nuggets. I could not be more stoked, and I'm definitely going to try to go to the next couple games.

Still not enough to get under the cap until Webber leaves.

So they will be mediocre this year and next...and with JUST enough talent not to tank especially in the awful Atlantic.

I think it's possible that Carmelo and Iverson could co-exist. It's not really probable, but possible. Sure, at first they will be like any new couple. ESPN will eat it up. We'll see what happens

But George Karl couldn't even get along with Ray Allen or Sam Cassell. How on earth will he handle AI? On paper, this is really something to be excited about for Nuggets fans. If you make this trade on NBA Live '07 you're golden. But i think this was the wrong move for Denver to make. We'll see.

Assuming "the answer" isn't at PG, they can now run set plays for melo cutting with "the answer" keeping teams from being able to just collapse and force Den to shoot from outside. "the answer" is indeed maybe the answer, cause no doubt he can shoot. We'll see whether he wants to win a championship.

Money wise it looks like Stan's making up the luxury tax with added tix sales ... he makes money on everything he does, cause if a move doesn't make money, he doesn't make the move. It's tenatively a two year deal to win a champrionship. After 'the answer's" contract is up after next season, Stan'll have to rethink.

you know, nobody mentioned what I want most for this whole thing. That is for Those 2 crusty old bastards George Karl and Doug Moe (especially Moe) to win a championship. Ive always loved the hell out of Moe, since I was like 6 years old, and Karl deserves a retirement ring. Its gonna be a hoot watching them coach this team now. If Martin comes back next year, and they dont have any major injury problems, they have all the talent they need to win a title.

And the great thing about this whole deal is that we now have something to REALLY keep us entertained during the offseason.

Personally, I rewarded the Nuggs by getting 3 5 game holiday packs when I usually only go to 1, maybe 2 Nuggs games per year.

Yay Denver!!!!!

Damn good thing. Iverson wasn't likely to play, which would have left the Nuggets with a starting lineup of Boykins, Diawara, Kleiza, Nene & Camby.
