Oh, and congrats to the 'Skers for getting that Cotton Bowl bid. That should be one of the better bowl games. Despite rooting for Boise (They are broncos and wear Orange and Blue, how could I not? ), I think they are going to get slaughtered. I think OU has finally hit their stride and going to abuse Boise up and down the fieldLast edited by Master___Pain; 12-04-2006 at 06:30 PM.. |

Zach Bowman is staying for 07 which is huge news. NU landed Armanda Murillo a 4 star DB as well.

That is big news. Our cornerbacks should be pretty solid next year. I think we should be pretty well set at linebacker as well and I like how Suh played at DT this year. DE and safety will be the big question marks, but we really can't be any worse at safety than we were this year. It's also good to see the way the recruiting class is shaping up. Bring on Auburn!

Considering that A) I was not bashing NU's recruiting class and B) was making a general statement about recruiting and C) that you a no talent ass clown, I'll just consider the source and find it very humorous that it bothered you enough to respond.

So, Husker fans. What's the breakdown on Adam Carriker? Should the Broncos draft him? I've only seen him in three games and I thought he looked like a monster on the Dline. You guys have seen him far more than I have. Any analysis?

I've been calling for us to draft him since the start of the season. He would likely be a true everydown DE for us who can rush the passer.

He's a hoss... I would love to see him in Denver. I think he is a better player when he is a little smaller than he is right now... this year he damn near ate his way into being a defensive tackle.

1995 Nebraska was selected as the greatest team of all time by voters on ESPN Classic. They beat 71 Nebraska in the final matchup.
No doubt the Nebraska fans were out in force voting online, but Herbstreet and May were complaining non-stop because of their hard ons for any team that came after 2000 and could throw the bal (i.e. 04 USC 01 Miami.) When Herb said something about how good defenses could shut down mid 90's Nebraska by loading up on the run I wanted to smack him. Brilliant strategy! I wonder why the hell a Warren Sapp/Ray Lewis led Miami team wasn't able to pull it off. I agree 04 SC and 01 Miami were great great teams and would have matched up well with 95 Nebraska, but sometimes those two come across as having no idea what they are talking about. These are the same idiots who spent all of last year saying that 05 USC was the greatest college team of all-time before they even played in (and lost) the Rose Bowl. |

It was a huge day in Husker land!!! We landed some pretty good players today.
4 star DE 3 star WR. There where two others as well, that may grade out different later. |

That's great news. Sounds like our new d-line coach Wyatt has picked right where Blake left off.

I think they are Blakes guys but came here anyways. 3 star LB and a 2 star DT. The DT is a 3 star on scout though but I think he will end up higher on Rivals. There is one more HS DE that sounds like there is still a good chance we will land him. (3 star) Either way Im very impresses with the secondary help we brought in this year. Just getting Bowman back is HUGE in my mind.

Another huge recruit this time for the 08 class. He should end up as the #1 player in Iowa and a top 100 ranking. |

JC DE William Yancy signed with NU today. 3 star DE on rivals. He had over 25 other D1 offers.

guys in the know on Huskerpedia believe we should land a few more good players before its all said in done.
Larry Asante 4 star JC LB/SS should be a Husker according to some. That will give us 8 4 star players for the year. Oh we are up to number 9 in the nation via rivals. Last edited by DBroncos4life; 12-19-2006 at 10:58 PM.. |

Asante committed to NU today..... this is a huge get. One of the things we've been lacking recently is a run stuffer at safety.... and with 4.4 speed he should be solid against the pass.
This class is shaping up nicely... it won't end up ranking up there with our 2005 class but may have more athletes. |
