Crested Butte, Amazing extreme skiing, and only Texans and locals so there are very few lines. I love skiing down there!

I'm not a Texan, I'm a New Mexican, but I too was in CB over Thanksgiving. No lines is right. It's a ghost town, seriously. Not a lot of runs open right now, but definitely worth hitting.

Its owned by Texans so there are a tons of Texans that frequent it. I was there for New Years last year and it dumped 12" of snow the day before I got there. Fresh powder every day I skiied.

Oh really? I didn't know Texans owned it. Interesting.

Yeah, over Thanksgiving it snowed and dumped a foot on us as well. Fresh powder is goodness.

I learned to ski in AZ...Snowbowl in Flagstaff. I've been to Sunrise in the White Mountains AZ....and mostly ski now up at Mt. Bachelor here in Bend. I've been to Winter Park, CO...awesome. But, mostly, I'd love to go to MT, too. But, I have ulterior motives for that. Skiing would be an awesome by-product.

Out of curiosity, what do you guys that ski a lot pay for a lift ticket? I was complaining about ours. I don't even know why, I have a pass. I guess I feel sorry for the other poor schmucks.
