the title says it all, i hope denver gets destroyed the rest of the year. the reason, starting Cutler. I mean give me a break, Plummer has been descent the past few weeks in all the losses. I mean is it his fault that the defense let LT run over them all day for 4TD's? or that they allowed the Chiefs almost 220 rushing yards, or that the special teams has been letting the opposition play only half the field, NO!!!
HE is getting fu cked for being the QB, so now to prove it wasn't his fault, i hope Denver gets killed the rest of the year I love the Broncos and want victory, but the benching of Plummer has pissed me off and i hope this season ends badly. |

Sounds to me like someone's a Plummer fan; not a Broncos fan. Only a fairweather, bandwagon fan would wish for the team to lose just because an underachieving player finally got a well-deserved benching.

Anybody who thinks that Plummer is/was the sole problem this year needs to do a little game film study...

Thats not what people are saying. They are saying you should support whoever is taking snaps. You shouldn't wish losses b/c your QB of choice may be benched. And I think if you watch a little film you will see that teams stack the box to force a pass b/c Plummer can't do that. They forced Plummer into 3 and outs which put our D on the field too many times. Plummer was great but this year he has taken a huge step back. Watch the tape and you will see that. Its nothing against Jake he just has not been able to overcome the adjustments.

I support Cutler and the Broncos and am no bandwagon fan, just ask the 12thman if you don't believe me.
what i am trying to say is Plummer is getting unfairly tossed aside, due to the TEAM's recent struggles. The defense of late has sucked, and special teams is giving the opposition only half the field to play. Truly everyone has noticed that, and if it were due to the fact of just a player being benched in favor of poor play, then over the last few weeks more than just Plummer should have been getting demotions to the bench. All i am saying is he got screwed, by the team, coaching staff and all the supposed fans who say they love the Broncos, but turn around and say they hate the starting QB. My saying they lose the rest of the year is in no way my way of jumping of Denver's bandwagon, i am a fan to the core, it is just over frustration over the people and organization not handling this situation appropriately. |

Jake couldn't get it done with his capabilities. Not a knock on him but he is not a pocket passer and teams exploited that. Wishing a loss b/c your guy got benched is stupid and idiotic and is far from the reaction a true fan of a team would have.

Look, Jake is a great guy and did some great things for us. This year, he just dosn't have it. I don't know what caused him to be this bad this year, but my guess is the combination of losing Kubiac and the pressure of a first round draft pick behind him. You know for a fact that I supported Jake since he got here. You know what else too? I support whoever our starting qb is. I support any guy that puts on the blue and orange jersy. excetp foster. I can't stand him. He's the exception. Right now Cutler is the qb, and he's got my full support. And Im rooting him on to kick ass this year. You know I went to the Bronco/charger game. I saw jake throw to javon a few times when other people were open and he just locked on him and the pass fell incomplete. The most notable pass was a third down, jake just keyed on javon and he was covered and Rod was wide ****in open to get the third down and a lot more IMO. Then we had a chance in the fourth quarter twice on offense to take the lead or try to tie it up. It was the 4th down play, had time to discuss the play with shanny, and then goes out and trows an easy pick. Then on the last drive, we were in striking distance to get a TD, and Jake fumbles, game over. Now, I know we had other problems that night, but you know, the good qb's, that do somthing in the playoffs, would not throw the pick, or fumble like that. They lead the team to get a TD. They carry thier team on his back when things are bad, and Jake had two oppurtunites to do it, and he choked that game. It's just one of those seasons for jake. Just after that game, I knew Jake was done. Yeah he got another one at kc, but i think only cause it was a short week. I feel bad for the guy, I really do, but the change had to be made and I agree with the change. I agree because the qb play has been poor this year, the season is almost done, jake is gone anyway next year, and we needed a spark. Hopefully, jay will be that spark. Im pretty excited to see what jay can do. we saw what he can do in the preaseason, now, he's seen how the offense works, and has gotten coached by the mastermind and co, I can't wait to see if he's ready. And I honestly belive we will be in the playoffs this year. Im not giving up on this season, and I hope you're not either. Ive known you for like 10 years, and I know you really don't want to us to get killed the rest of the way. I know you're just pissed, and talking out of anger, but I know you really don't want us to go down in flames. By the way, if the Broncos do get killed for the remainder of the year, Im going to kick your ****in ass!!!! Last edited by 12th man; 11-28-2006 at 01:15 AM.. |
