I just can’t believe how many people on this site can slam the OL, slam the D, slam the running game and just dodge the whole Jake factor.

The Broncos have been carrying this bum since the AFC Championship game. IMO, they’ve carried him the whole time he’s been in Denver. We played “Good” enough to win this game except for one important exception, below average to incredibly bad QB play.

The Chiefs didn’t respect the run because they knew that Jake couldn’t make any game breaking plays in the passing game. Isn’t that obvious? How can an OL expect to open wide holes in the running game when the line of scrimmage is stacked?

It's unbelievable to see how many of these 20,000 post’s geniuses on this site are now ready to flip flop on their Hero Jake and jump on the Cutler band wagon since the Broncos could be in real danger of not making the playoffs. It’s makes my laugh and at the same it makes me want to go into a blind rage and kick someone in the backside for being so short sided and stupid on this whole Jake the Fake debate.

They didn't play well, I agree but wouldn't you agree since the Chiefs didn't have any respect for the passing game it effected the offense as a whole? I may need glasses but you are blind if you can't see that.

they had 0 respect for Plummer, and he didnt do anything to change it, i agree.

As an offense, they FAILED. Would Cutler have completed some more passes? Sure he would, but would he have escaped 5 or 6 sacks like Plummer did, im not sure.

BTW, read some of the other threads, many on this site have said the same you have but have ignored the really big problem we had in this game.

read my lips - JAKE was NOT our biggest problem this game.

He missed some passes (ezpecially that open Alexander one, ugh!) but when he needed time on 3rd downs, and even on some long 2nd downs, the Tackles got flat out PWNED!!

The D didnt play well, but we still could have won, so i wont bash them too much more.

Wow, now its the Jake can escape pressure excuse. What others one's can you line up Jake? They've been recycled on this site so many times it's like a bad rerun of a never ending soap opera. It makes me want to puke.

hmm, an option QB for his first two years??

He's as mobile as Jake, with a much better arm and everything else too. Strong enough to not fumble as much either.

Benches 400 lbs!?!?! WTH is that. Unreal talent.

excuse? its a fact that the OT were terrible on passing downs!

Dont get me wrong, im in the Jay should start now side of the fence, but if our OL woes of protecting the passer dont get fixed, he wont do much better.

This is the first game since the St. Louis game I can honestly say Jake was a huge factor in a loss. He had wide open looks to receivers and overthrew several balls. The Kansas City secondary would have been absolutely shredded if he had connected on some of those attempts.

Thank you that's the game I saw too. Most of the game Jake just looked to dump the ball off, he wasn't looking downfield at all. He had open guys but like in so many games this year he was running scared or didn't have the patience or enough confidence in his own ability to get the ball downfield.

Dude, you are a joke. your post mid way in the season about the team making playoffs as i told then was a big joke. If you thought jake was bad... you were emotional then in saying this is a playoff team.

Also the OL was terrible. let me know if u couldn't see it and i will get you glasses. The defense was shredded and Running game non existent. No trick plays or anything creative on play calling and you are sitting and still blaming a guy who already kind of lost his job last week and this week was playing because it was a short week.

Find something else that makes sense here after. And dont think you are way too intelligent in future.. as your headline above says. neither are long timers nor are short timers as you have proved time and again.

so go to sleep and keep your views coming though they are dumb

I was seeing how easy Denver was passing or missing open recievers and was picturing Paymeaton or C Palmer against that D and it was ugly.

The OL has not played well I'm not denying that but they've been put in a position to have to try open holes against defenses who haven't respected the passing game. I'd be willing to bet if Jake makes 1 or 2 deep throws in the game they back off and we run the ball better. Jake threw an INT in the first series then all respect was gone.

agreed, and if shanny (who i think did not coach the last game properly and that is the reason we lost) had any balls.. and if he had confidence on jay cutler.. he should have thrown him in. He has spent 12 weeks here and knows the offense well enough by now.. today or next sunday wouldn't make a difference.

Look at what parcells did. He got the spark on monday night when the national audience was watching. Shanny is not coaching well either and players are not executing. this team has lost it - that is plain and simple

when winning against san diego, if shanny called passes when the run was getting 4 yards a carry... i lost my respect right there. He lost that game and today the team lost this game and i think we lost the season

Shanny to me has let his ego get in the way one to many times this year. In the San Diego game he had a 17 point lead then proceeded to let Jake throw the ball.

Why? We were running ball well enough to control the clock and could have ran some time off the clock, instead we punt the ball and give it back to the most dangerous overall back in the league. The D played well enough to win that game too, it was poor game management by Shanny that lost that game. Jake's piss poor play didn't help either but I just don't get why he won't run the ball, I guess it's boring to him.

He still thinks he can't outsmart any defense in league when the truth is our O is about as vanilla as it can get right now.

Yea, because none of us have mentioned problems at the QB spot on this forum. It's almost gone unmentioned.

Great thread, though.
