Moss, asked Monday about dropping more passes than usual this season, said perhaps his lack of happiness has affected his play. "Maybe because I'm unhappy, and I'm not too much excited about what's going on, so my concentration and focus level tends to go down when I'm in a bad mood," Moss said. "So all I can say is if you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results." What a great investment this guy turned out to be. Forget that you're being paid top dollar or that the Fade gave up a top 10 pick to acquire you, you're not happy, so you don't feel that you have to do your job. Nice. They need to send this idiot packing, he's a part of the problem. Talented or not, that kind of attitude is part of what's turned the Fade into a punchline. |

I find it hard to believe there isn't MORE than enough crack, Colt 45, handguns and whores in Oakland to make this guy happy.
how this guy is the captain of any team, given the lack of heart, lack of character, and lack of leadership he's got is beyond me. |

Moss would look nice lined up next to Javon.
Most lethal 1, 2 punch ever? After playing in Oakland, I'm sure he would be excited to play for a winner. |

Maybe the bay area is too much into pedophilia, meth, marlboros, natural light and homosexual activity for Randy's tastes? There are a ton of Catholics in the area.

He appears to not want to take a team on his shoulders for the victory. If he had caught some of those passes during the season, the Raiders may not be 2-7 at this point. Pretend to be a leader on offense and I'll consider wanting Moss in a Broncos uniform. The talent is there, but the attitude needs to be adjusted...

When is the last time you saw Moss make a catch that made you say WOW? Dude has been mailing it in for at least 2 seasons now and stealing a paycheck from his team. As good as Champ is, I don't think he holds Moss to 1 catch for 8 yards if Moss plays with even a little heart. What a waste of talent.

How many more football years does this guys body have left? I cannot wait until he fades away into oblivion or the prison system which ever comes first.

Moss rarely goes all out on the shorter type routes. He seems to be going half-speed and looks to go down after catching the ball. Long runs after the catch are rare for him anymore.

It's hard to feel for a guy like Randy, with his past being as checkered as it is. But part of me does, as I believe he's sincere about wanting to win. I love to see the Raiders turning into a wasteland thanks to an owner who the game has passed by.
There was a lot of good press about the guy going into the season about the way he was preparing and taking on his role as a team leader. But with the Raiders complete lack of commitment to actually winning, I can imagine that would make even the most seasoned of veterans frustrated, let alone a hot-dogger like Randy who is trying to transition from his previous self to a team leader. I think that when the time comes for Randy to leave, he's going to go with a perspective that appreciates the opportunity to go to a winner, realizing that winning isn't automatic just because Randy Moss is on the scene. Shanahan considered Terrell Owens, but when they brought him in for an interview, his complete lack of perspective and inability to show any remorse for how he left the Eagles organization turned him and Sunny off. As a result (thankfully) Javon became their top receiving focus. With regards to Moss, I think the way he interviews will be the difference between whether the Broncos will want him or not. He's not a great route runner, but he could easily fill in the role that Lelie had on this team. That said, I doubt we'll see Randy Moss on this squad. I'd wager on Lelie coming back before I would on the Broncos signing Moss. |

This spoiled prima donna deserves contempt, not sympathy. Al Davis is paying him a fortune and he's openly dogging it and somehow, that's Al's fault, too. Give me a break. Let this lazy sonofab**** accomplish one tenth as much as Al Davis has in the NFL and then he can complain. |

Our local sports show has a better idea. Randy should be like Klinger on M.A.S.H. and wear a dress in order to get "out." Otherwise, he needs to shut up or retire, he's wasting everyone's time.

I'm pretty sure Moss would produce if he was on a winning team. Can't blame him for being pissed on how the Raiders are playing. I'd be pissed too.

If it comes down to a matter of finding sympathy between two devils, I'm going find sympathy for the little devil trapped in Al's web, not the master of darkness himself. I'm not really going to get caught up in a lot of sympathy for either of them, except to say that I think Moss might find some perspective in this whole situation. Of course, that perspective won't come until he's forced his way out of Oakland in what is sure to be an ugly divorce. I'm not a big Keyshawn fan either, but he's been nothing but a model citizen in Carolina. I can see Randy Moss making that type of transition... but in the current situation, I doubt he's mature enough to ride out his contract, which he signed in 2005 as an 8 year deal. This "dropping passes because of bad mood" thing is nothing more than the prelude to a trade request. |

I think we should look at getting Moss in the off season. If we could get him for a good deal, I think he'd be worth a shot, especaily with our unproven talent at WR.
