Obviously, Jeff is out, so of course I'd go with Jimmy for my next choice. But if JB should happen to pull it out, that'd be ok too.....as long as it is that supreme piece of **** teammate of his, Harvick.
like I said, a rough few years Now, I have a bone to pick with the whining comment...not so much that it was or wasnt true, but you are a Gordon fan and pointing out whining issues? COME AWN!

Its all good though, we can argue about drivers and I wont take it personal It has been some tough luck for Team Unibrow this year (Gordon and Johnson)
and it looks like Kenseth is the guy to watch out for.

HEY! Team Unibrow?!! Don't think I care for that! Seriously, why does everyone say Jeff is such a whiner? Every other driver whines just as much as he does when something happens to them too.

I still call Jeff Burton, "CB". It's stuck even after all these years and the whining is down. Cry-baby.

I hate Roush teams. I'd much rather see your guy win it than any Roush a-hole.

Hey LH I did look up Walter Röhrl and he was saying that if he had raced in 1988 he would've improved his time over 87. I wish he had raced since that probably would've put him on top. After all he did beat Ari the year before.

The greatest racing career of all time is over. Schumacher yesterday finished fourth in his last Grand Prix. His chances to still pip Alonso for the title were slim, but they were shattered when Alonso´s team mate Fisichella (accidentally?) blew up Michael´s tire early in the race. He still managed to mount a comeback and finish fourth, but he wasn´t to win his 8th World Championship. Schumacher´s team mate Felipe Massa won the race.

7 World Titles
91 Grand Prix wins
68 Pole Positions
154 Top 3 finishes

Walter was an amazing driver... It's not a coincidence he was voted to best rally driver of all time and rally driver of the millenium (I know, that sounds a bit strange )

Does anyone know what happened to Kahne yesterday. I seen him in the garage getting out of his car in the middle of the race and he didnt finish. Since the race was on the same time the Broncos were playing I missed it.

ahne, in a classic case of role-reversal, pinched his No. 9 Dodge, which was running 10th at the time, up into the No. 40 Dodge of the rookie Stremme, heading into Turn 1 on Lap 247.

Stremme, running two laps down in the frontstretch high line, was wiped out of the race when Kahne inexplicably disregarded spotter and brother Kale's warning that Stremme was outside him -- and turned right anyway.

Thx

Oh yes, he was... THE best? who knows, that's up for debate... there are a few names who deserve to be in this discussion, but it's only a select, really elite few. But without a doubt, he was the most successful ever.

It seems to me that Kahne has the Manning steriotype. Has alot of talent but when put under pressure he chokes. I like the guy but he raced fine all year and when it came to crunch time he has been screwing up alot.

The points system is a joke. My faves are Dale Jr. and Khane. I also like Tony and hope he wins out to show just how stupid the new system really is!!

I'm a huge #9 fan (since the days of Bill Elliot) but on one hand I have to somewhat agree with you. He does seem to do dumb things, not just late in the season but also late in races. How many times has he crashed in the last few laps of a race?

On the other hand, I do think it's waytoo early to talk about him being a choke artist. After all, it's only his third season and these last 9 races are the only ones he's run in the chase. If he makes the next few chases and finishes in the lower half each time then I think you're onto something, IMHO.
