I was actually glad to see CU get the win.... I generally always pull for the North over the South. It will be nice when they two divisions are seen as more equal. |

I have to agree with you there. Odds are we won't win but come on its not like we are playing some joke of a team here.

As far as the game against Texas, I watched their game against Baylor and I'm fairly confident that we can win this one.

They stomped a mud hole in Baylor after shaking off the RRS hangover in the first quarter. I'm curious as to what makes you confident in a win. I don't doubt that you could win, but I'd like for you to expand on why you are confident.

I really was not impressed with their play, especially after Baylor jumped out to a fairly large lead against them. If Nebraska can do that (and it's a big if) I'm confident we could hold them off.

a fairly large lead ? 10 points is a large lead ? I will admit it caught everyone a little off guard but we never looked back from that point on. Didn't we score 28 points in the second quarter?

Did you know that Nebraska leads the Big12 in rushing? That should be a fun match-up to watch. Our rush D against your rush O.

Normalcy has returned to the state of Nebraska!
Anyway, the run game should be an interesting matchup. Our o-line has run blocked well this season, but our pass blocking leaves something to be desired (thus our surprisingly low number of passes this season). |

10 points is hardly a huge lead especially against a quick strike team like UT. And if you are not impressed with UT's play does NU's play impress you? Personally I think that UT is playing pretty darn well but it's hard to get a gauge on NU. The struggle against KU is looking like an anomaly, but they certainly were not overwhelming in beating ISU and KSU. They played decent in both of those games but I don't think that was NU's "A" game either. NU's has to have their best game of the season and hope that UT play a mistake filled game. If I sound like a broken record, it's because I said the exact same things in regard to the U$C game. I also was right in regard to the U$C game.

I totally understand trying to slow down the game. And most games hinge on a couple of "what if's", trust me I know all about that this season.

Well we landed one player after the UT game. It would be nice if we could get the two 4 star players though. |

4 Star RB from Texas (33 ranked) loved the trip to NU. He gave it a 9. Thats all great but it will be better when he signs. We landed a 3 star DE with some serious speed from Florida as I posted already. Problem is he is pretty small at 220 pounds. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2393515 4 star CB David Ross has said this.... It is as close as it can be to an official commitment. That is how you can describe David Ross' decision on committing to the University of Nebraska. The 6-foot-0, 174-pound cornerback from Compton (Calif.) Dominguez was one of the two four-star rated players to visit NU for Saturday's battle against the Texas Longhorns. Again till he signs its just words. He would be a huge get though. These guys are guys NU has a better chance at landing at well. http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2738309 4 star Juco, his coach said he is a better player then Bowman!!! http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=8&c=1&nid=2405903 Has family that has played at NU, so there is a big help. Thats all I could really find from surfing the other boards. |

Disgusting. They ran all over our slow defense and our offense dissapeared in the second half. Oklahoma state simply isn't a very good team, and they have dominated the last three quarters in every phase. We are better than last year, but not much and seem to have the same problem letting a hard loss start a downward spiral. With Missouri and A&M on deck we are in real danger of losing 4 straight if we can't get it together. Dissapointing to see us take such a big step backward.
