THere were a losses by teams right above us (Missouri, Georgia, Iowa) so I doubt we move down or up that much. K-State's defense impressed me, though our offense didn't handle the pressure very well. Once they loaded up against the run we kept getting in 3rd and long, which was the only time we really passed the ball. Freeman, though we may hate to admit it, looks pretty good and will only get better. 3 points is a good effort by our defense, but a freshman was able to get 270 yards on our secondary. A road win doesn't need to be pretty, but we will need to get a lot more comfortable on the offense, passing game especially, if we want a chance against Texas.

You guys pretty much dominated us in every phase of the game. I counted 3 times where Nebraska fumbled, but K-State wasn't able to recover.

Other than that, we have a LOT of work to do if we are going to return to powerhouse status. Good game, though. However, the choke job KU did against Oklahoma State STILL made the day worthwhile...

Thanks. You guys have some good things to build off of. A young quarterback who looks like he's the real deal and a solid defense that is fast and aggressive. It sounds like the post-game handshake between Prince and Callahan was not uber-friendly, so there is obviously no love lost between these programs. I would expect these teams to continue to give the other a good game for a while.

5 of our 13 recruits are from TX this year. While I know we have our work cut out for us this week a win here would do wonders to open up some more recruits from that cash cow called Texas.

I was shocked at the early line for the NU-Texas game ... I figured it would be 10-12 but it opened at 8 and is at 6.5 in some places already.

It seems Vegas thinks we have chance in hell to beat Texas.

Hey, don't lump all of us in with the lunatic fringe. You can't blame us for being excited about a win though, it was long over due. I think most knowledgeable CU fans take the game for what it is, a win nothing more, nothing less.
