Fantastic!!! Shut out the Yankees 6-0 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

I could care less about the Detroit Tigers, but at least they're doing God's work against HIS adversary.

I love it! I used to watch the Tigers with my grandfather, his favorite team, and I know he's enjoying this immensely. It helped create my passion for sports watching him watch his team.
And anybody who beats the Yankee's is my favorite team at the moment. |

I think Arod is like 10-19 against Rogers with 5 hrs career wise and the Yankees are always great against him and he ends up pitching a great game. I wonder who has something more wrong with them mentaly Arod or TO?

Great game going on today.
I'm not the biggest baseball fan around, just casual, but I've stopped watch the OK/TX game and the FL/LSU for this game. Detroit on top of them early, keep it up! |

FU Steinbrenner, 198 million down the toilet! Gotta love how the Tigers celebrated with the fans. Heck even Kenny Rogers poured Champagne on a Cop.

The Yankees were not that good - although I thought they'd beat the Tigers based on the success they had against them during the regular season.
There will be big changes in Boston, but watching the Yankees clean house this winter will be fun to watch. I am so happy they lost. ![]() |

I had a blast at the game.
Best baseball game I have ever been to by far. Comerica was rocking....what an electric atmosphere today. I will post some pics later. |

At least the Sox have a good number of expiring contracts to bring in new guys that will hopefully succeed. I love it though. Now that the MFY are out I'm just hoping for some good, competative series. ![]() |

Lot's of very long faces here in western NY....Yankees fans here outnumber everyone else by an easy 5 to 1 margin.
I have no love for the Yankees, especially after they rolled over and allowed that fat pig in Florida to win the WS back in 2003. I wouldn't mind seeing the Tigers take it all...my whole thing now is "anyone but St. Louis". |
