Willie Nelson and four others were issued misdemeanor citations for possession of narcotic mushrooms and marijuana after a traffic stop Monday in Louisiana, cops say. The citations were issued after a commercial vehicle inspection of Willie's bus.

"When the door was opened, the trooper smelled marijuana," the news release said. A search produced 1.5 pounds of marijuana and 0.2 pounds of narcotic mushrooms.

I'm not sure which was more of a surprise: The fact that "magic mushrooms" are still in circulation, or the fact that Willie Nelson eats 'em.
