I load this morning in Perryton Texas , hieght is 15 '8 inches , width 12'0 , with 4 foot overhang making me 73¾ foot long ........so I need permits for oversize load ...... 12 miles from oklahoma , I have my Okie permit , waiting on texas . if I bootleg the load the 12 miles and get caught , 1,000 dollar fine , permit revoked , and we have to get another truck carry this load and 400. per hour crane to load the other truck ...............
if the permit dont get here soon , I am stuck in Perryton Texas over night .......
12 freaking miles ............

I have colorado annual , and self issuing permits for wyoming ........... once Iam out of Oklahoma , I got smooth sailing , well as far as permits ..... I have a bad ass load on round tanks ....... hard to haul ......

well I busted a glad hand in Boise city Ok , had the road blocked , got that fixed now I am in springfield Colorado ............ spend the night here , get a fresh start in the morning ...........

Not in NY..here anything over 14' high needs a lead escort w/ a height pole....in addition, at your height (or anything over 15') you need both front and rear escorts, a valid route survey and you cannot travel in business districts (or NY state for that matter) between certain hours of the morning and evening.

If you're also over 116,000 lbs., you can't cross any "R" bridges in NY either.

I guess other states are more lax than here or something.....you should see NY's restriction wall map....looking at it, you'd actually wonder how any trucking could get to one end of the state to another...

well I got a level 1 DOT inspection last night 4:30 pm .. lasted untill 5:45 pm .... got away without a fine .So yeah i am bragging

but I am at home now ........ not even going to think about touching that rig untill monday
