New Coach, it's just transition...the only thing bad is the hurt to recruiting a poor season will bring, it took Florida two season to iron out the spread option and they still aren't truly proficient at it. Don't throw in the towel just yet Buff fans. But pray for Air Force next week...

Good for Montana State! The Hawk honeymoon didn't last very long. And if CSU beats the Buffs they'll be calling for his head on a platter.

Yeah. I really don't care if Cox has looked good in practice. He's looked like **** in actual game situations, and the bowl game last year was a perfect example. That kid cannot move an offense.

Maybe not quite as bad, but the offense that first season was painful to watch. It looked utterly inept half the season. We were happy to only lose 30-3 to Oklahoma. It sounds like CU is even worse of QB wise than we were, which will kill a team changing coaches. Hawkins has his work cut out for him, but I still see CU being competitive in a few years. K-state played almost just as bad, and would have lost to Illinois state if not for a fumbled punt and a punt return. Growing pains are never fun. Except for the opposing fans.

Pez, could you please remove any post by a Knobraska fan from this thread?
Herc, Hawkins: "Iīm not planning on making any personnel changes for the CSU game." Looks like Cox will get the start again, but I do hope Hawkins will pull him before itīs too late if he continues where he left off against MSU. |

Itīs a thread for the CU fans of this community and I think Iīm speaking for them when I want this thread to be kept clean. Apart from that, have you ever heard of the word irony?

The more I think about it, the more I'm willing to give Cox another chance. NO ONE played well. One player wouldnt' have made a difference. The biggest thing that had me concerned was the lack of leadership from Cox on the field... but that's not really something BJax or White specialize in either. Short of burning Hawk Jr's redshirt, the QB position is going to be one that will just get us through the year.
Jens, just ignore him. He's just trolling this thread. Some CU fans have trolled the Nebraska thread. If you just ignore them, they'll eventually go away. As for getting rid of all NU fans, I've seen BMF make some good posts in this thread and Evenrude's opinion is always solid as well. |
