I'd say 4th or 5th ... he lasted all the way into the 7th round on my league. But I play a 10 man league.

Entirely dependant on how your other owners draft rbs. I'd put bell at around the 14th-18th best RB, so that might be a better way of answering your question.

I'd also like to add that this is my first year doing ff, so take that into consideration.

I picked him up in the 7th round....he makes a good 3rd or 4th RB to have.

It's a tough call with Denver rbs right now. Some people outside of Denver might not know of him just yet so he could drop, but for all we know Tatum or someone else can be carrying the load by week 4 or splitting carries again.
I think I would look towards getting two established backs first or if you draft Mike then you might want to draft Tatum as well. |

I also picked him up in the 7th round. Then I picked Tatum up in the 9th. So I'm guaranteed the starter pretty much.

In my league I tried to wait until the 3rd (no Bronco fans). He went in the second.

I got him in the 6th in two leagues - one 12 team league and one 14 team league. Tatum went before Mike in both.

I think it almost guaranteed, barring injury or something, he gets almost 1000 yards whether he's the featured back or not. That's just how the offense is shaping up right now without a hands down dominant runner. The question is can he get you roughly a touchdown a game?? |

I got him in the 4th round today. I ended up w/2nd overall pick in 12 team league, and we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex RB/WR, 1 flex WR/TE, TE, DEF, K). Pretty happy with my squad:
2. Shaun Alexander 23. A. Boldin 26. C. Chambers 47. M. Bell 50. A. Green 71. T. Jones 74. D. Bennett 95. Bledsoe 98. C. Brown 119. Kellen Winslow 122. JAKE 143. T. Williamson 146. M. Vick (Michael not Marcus) 167. V. Morency 170. Dallas Defense 191. Rodney White 195. C. Bradford I didn't draft a kicker, but Josh Brown is on the wire and I'm going to cut C. Bradford for him.. |

I got him with the #2 of the 7th round (pick 74). Of course I knew he would last that long since no one in my league follows the Broncos. My other league has its draft on Tues and I bet he will go sooner, as half the people are from Denver.

You should easily win your league. Cadillac in the third? Taylor in the 14th? That's insane. Everyone had him listed as a 3rd or 4th rounder. |

I did a draft a few days ago and Bell was undrafted so I picked him up. I'm pretty happy with my team. Drafted 10th out of 10 and start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr,1te, 1d, 1k QBs: Delhomme and Brunell RBs: McGahee, Domanick Davis, Jamal Lewis, Tatum and Mike Bell WR: Steve Smith, Terrell Owens(didn't want him put he was the best player on the board), Javon Walker, Joey Galloway(dropped Issac Bruce when someone dropped Galloway), Derrick Mason TE: Heath Miller K: John Kasay D: Seattle There was one guy that took Vick and Crumpler in rounds 2 & 3 and Pinkston in round 5. Knowing Denver's running situation, by years end, Cobbs or Nash or Sapp will be the leading rusher on this team, and then we will trade that guy away and have sum new speculation on who will be the top back during preseason and camp next season...lol

But aside from that ur team looks pretty solid, especially having DeAngelo as ur reserve, because by years end he will be the top dog on his team. |

I took him in the second round of a draft, but only because it was a draft of all Broncos fans. I knew he wouldn't last to the late third so I pulled the trigger with the 15th pick overall.
In my home league, he lasted to the 15th round, but that was after the first week of the preseason. The word is starting to get out about him now, and given Denver's success with the running game, I think more and more people are taking notice. Ultimately, I think Mike Bell should last at least through the 8th or 9th round in most leagues... But I wouldn't be suprised to see him go as high a 7th. |
