I certainly don't think we'll waltz into LA and lay the wood to USC, but I do think we have a legitimate shot at beating them. Callahan has been bringing lots of talent to NU.

Excellent point on the talent pool at USC..... the one advantage NU will have is experience. Who knows, until they strap 'em on how it all pans out.

I'm a big homer, I admit it. It wouldn't be the first "I told you so" I've recieved.... but when I hit on one, it's a good feeling.

Just here to say whats up to my beloved Cornhusker fans in here, it might be a longshot but I do hope you guys knock off USC this year in week 3, some team has to beat them in their OOC schedule cause I doubt that any Pac-10 school can beat them.

I don't feel like going to look it up again but if you look at just the amount of offense they lost, you will see where they will not be the same. It was somewhere around 87% of their yards and scoring is now gone from last season. No matter how good the recruits are, there is a lot that comes from experience. Experience is one thing that noone can argue they do not have at all. That is not even saying what all they have lost on defense.

In all that argument was not saying their QB won't be good. I was saying that with the QB PLUS everything else they lost they will not be nearly as good no matter how you look at it. Even if they happen to beat us I see there being almost no possiblity for them to return to a NC simply based on the fact that they will lose some games off of inexperienced players mistakes.

There is this kid named noel devine, and deion sanders adopted him and that deion is good friends with a coach at nebraska and this kid might serisoulsy commit to us. Anyone know anything about this?

Noel Devine is a stud... but I doubt he qualify academically. I see him going to a juco. If he does make grades, NU has about a 25% chance of getting him... John Blake has a pretty good track record however.
