The only interesting thing to happen in baseball since Free Agency took over.

F..k the Yankees! BTW, I'm told that anything not related to NFL football isn't allowed on this page, it goes to dungeon, wherever that may be. Too bad though, what Tiger Woods is doing in Golf is history in the making and infinitely more interesting than the Yankees.

I imagine that most of Boston is weeping with him.

A 5 game sweep at home at the hands of your most hated rival. Ouch.

I hate the Red Sox so much that they've made me support the Yankees. I'm sure Ben Affleck is very upset about this and that makes me happy.

Hope so. He used to be one of my favorite sportswriters - now I can barely stand him.

You have absolutley no idea what you are talking about. hitting over .600 in game ending situations? 44 HRS 117 RBIs? Hes as clutch as it gets, period. Who else is intentionally walked in the 6th inning with a sure HOF and one of the best right hander hitters EVER behind him? its not his fault we lost tek wake and nixon and that beckett cant figure out how to pitch in the AL.

NO im not countig the sox out by any stretch. the yanks have just as tough a road ahead as far as the schedule and their bullpen as been used much more. The sox still have a shot at the division.

and you guys still own the BIGGEST CHOKE EVER. have a nice day

Only if you find golf as a spectator sport interesting. Most people do not.

As a Sox fan I can honestly say that I have achieved a lifelong peace as far as they're concerned. I could go the rest of my life without another title and be content with the way the Red Sox won it all in 2004.

Knowing that the Yankees will forever be the first team to lose a series after leading 3-0 has given me an eternal sense of satisfaction. Nothing can ever change that fact, and if it's ever done again it will pale in comparison because the Red Sox made the world now that it was indeed possible.

Not a Yankee fan by any means but I truly have a strong dislike for the sox. For years they complained about the evil empire and how Steinbrenner was always just trying to buy championships (which is true btw) when they were always #2 or 3 in salary themselves. The sox just weren't as good, and they gave off that whole entitlement attitude that welfare moms have that they just deserve **** without earning it.
