As a Sox fan I can honestly say that I have achieved a lifelong peace as far as they're concerned. I could go the rest of my life without another title and be content with the way the Red Sox won it all in 2004.

Knowing that the Yankees will forever be the first team to lose a series after leading 3-0 has given me an eternal sense of satisfaction. Nothing can ever change that fact, and if it's ever done again it will pale in comparison because the Red Sox made the world now that it was indeed possible.

Not a Yankee fan by any means but I truly have a strong dislike for the sox. For years they complained about the evil empire and how Steinbrenner was always just trying to buy championships (which is true btw) when they were always #2 or 3 in salary themselves. The sox just weren't as good, and they gave off that whole entitlement attitude that welfare moms have that they just deserve **** without earning it.
