Here's your hissy fit:

Whatever. I always see Mark Cuban, Josh Howard, Dirk, complaining about the calls during games too. Its amazing you dont mention the officiating in this game 3 but yet you did in game 1.

Why are Mavs fans like that? Just curious, they see things w/ blinders on.

Yeah you sure know a lot about the Spurs, have you ever heard the Spurs player use the officiating as an excuse after a game. They dont and their coach doesnt.

Bring on game 4.

OK, we could go back and forth all day and change each others minds not one iota. Fair enough. Let's get to the games and see what happens.

By the by, care for a little avatar bet on this one should the Mavs and Pistons meet?

No, you didn't miss anything. It's definetly gonna go 6 games. Probably 7. But don't tell Mavs fans that right now.

No, Im talking about the mentally weak Tim Duncan that forces an immediate conference with the officials after every single whistle. The Tim Duncan that Bob has captured so righteously with his images on this thread. The Tim Duncan that gets away with as much as any player in the league, but feels entitled to every call enough that he complains more than any player Ive ever seen. Now he has led his whole team into incessant whining. Its a regular occurrence to see a three to four man Spur whine festival after a foul call. Play like a man. Like everyone else has to. Most players would have been T'ed up in every game that they pulled that garbage.

Nice to see Dirk has adopted the Playoff Limp. He's not in the class of all time sympathy milkers like Isiah Thomas or Kevin McHale, but he's getting there. Not sure how much more the refs can do for him in this series, though. He practically attempted more free throws than the entire Spurs team. Maybe Cuban can cry even more.
What a load of garbage. Did you even watch the game? Probably not.

Dirk Nowitzki might have led his team to a championship starting last night. If Dallas can manage to put it together and bounce the Spurs on their way to a championship, Nowitzki will have stamped his ticket for the HOF. That was a legendary performance. The dude relentlessly attacked the basket last night. That's why he got to the line. He took over and beat his perimeter defenders off of the dribble. Nowitzki is one of the main reasons that Duncan was in foul trouble. Nowitzki fouled him out on a dirty play where Duncan tried to undercut him subtly (yet Timmy still whines like a 3 year old)...then Dirk proceeded to supply the clutch plays down the stretch to put the Mavs on top.

Playoff Limp? That's laughable. Get over yourself. The Lakers suck.

Its funny to read this BS thread about TD.

The guy's a legend, what has Dirk done in the playoffs. Until he wins a ring or is a league MVP. SHUTUP MAVS FANS.

He's a great player, no doubt, top 5 in the league.

Jesus Christ, the Mavs controlled the game, got 50 FTs and won by 1.

Bob, you are an idiot and please shut the hell up.

This series is far from over.

What a great victory for a limping Nowitzki and his Mavs. That game added to Dirk's legend in Dallas. It's too bad that no one cares outside of Texas, but this series is a monster. Dirk just delivered a Bird-esque game. Forget Bird, Dirk delivered a Dirk performance.
SHUT UP. COMPARING DIRK TO BIRD. PLEASE STOP W/ THE MADNESS.

DIRK IS A GREAT PLAYER BUT PLEASE LET HIM LEAD HIS TEAM TO A FINALS BEFORE ANNOINTING HIM A LEGEND.

ITS THE SECOND ROUND. TD'S MENTAL-WEAKNESS. WHAT **** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? HE DOESNT HAVE MENTAL WEAKNESS YOU IDIOT.

HE'S PLAYING THROUGH AN INJURY THE ENTIRE SEASON. THATS WHAT LEGENDS DO.

No, not that weakness...the weakness that your Lakers showed while being bounced by the equally weak and physically worn out Suns after being up 3-1. That type of playoff folding is usually held for guys like McGrady. It's nice to see the Lakers begin to cement themselves with that reputation. Chokers. Quitters.

This was a very close game. Don't act like the Mavs ran them off the court. It could have easily gone the other way, and you'd be crying right about now.
The Mavs have asserted their will in this series up to this point. They could easily be up 3-0 if they dont lose the lead in the fourth quarter of game 1 and Stack doesnt make that boneheaded play. The Mavs are getting what they want offensively and have put the clamps down on Ginobili and Parker. If the Mavs take game 4, the series is done. The Spurs' body language and dependance on the officials shows a team that is struggling to keep up. Poor Popovich looks beat down. The Mavs have the mental edge right now.

I am honestly tired of this crap.

Geez, if the Mavs win this series, I will give them all the credit in the world but these pathetic attacks on TD, shut the hell up.

The Mavs havent won anything yet. Geez.

I am not posting anymore in these threads about the Mavs-Spurs series.

If the Mavs win, I will give their team, their coach who I really admire all the credit.

But no props to the Mavs fans on this board.

I never said that the series is over. Check my posts...you wont find that there. Forgive me for being excited that the Mavs have outplayed the NBA Champions in the first three games of a playoff series, and that their star player is consistently delivering the all-around great play that I had hoped to see from him in the playoffs. Forgive me for being happy that a team that depends on intentional flopping and gifts from the officials is not getting to fool the refs in this series.

The Spurs can still win, and I expected them to win the series, but you cant deny that Dallas has been the better team in nearly every phase for the first three games. Dallas is on top mentally too. There wont be alot of rest for SA at any point in the remainder of the series. It's going to take a gargantuan effort for the Spurs to win this series, and I am proud of the Mavs for putting them at a disadvantage so early in the series...for taking advantage of the situation and putting SA in an increasingly difficult situation. If Dallas wins game 4, the situation becomes very, very difficult for an aged team like SA.
