Jim Wyatt and Christian Bottorff, of the Tennessean report nine people were arrested on suspicion of having roles in two major drug rings that trafficked cocaine and marijuana in Sumner and Davidson counties in Tennessee. One man, from Nashville, has possible ties to Tennessee Titans CB Adam Jones, authorities said Friday, April 14. Officers seized 1,653 pounds of marijuana, 128 pounds of cocaine, more than 20 vehicles and $608,000, police said. Many of the questions at a news conference surrounded the possible connection to Jones. Davidson County District Attorney Torry Johnson said that Jones is an acquaintance of suspect Darryl Jerome Moore, an aspiring rap singer who was released early last year from federal prison in California. Jones' nickname was embroidered as "Pac Man" on the black leather seats of a 2004 Cadillac XLR, a pricey sports car that authorities confiscated from Moore's apartment. Jones' Nashville attorney, Roger May, said yesterday that the car does not belong to his client, and he said he does not know if Jones ever owned or drove the car. Jones' sports agent, Michael Huyghue, said yesterday that he had advised his client not to comment.

This clown was obviously the financial facilitator but it might be hard to convict him unless they can get a money trail. There were some rumblings about him and Sean Taylor out of the drafts for punk behavior. We all were surprised when he was taken over Rolle.

It never fails to amaze me, all he had to do was throw his millions into real estate and live like a king the rest of his life. He better have a good accounting where his money was. This was a MAJOR bust.

Dopeman Jones told him to get off his property but the reporter was on a public sidestreet. I guess he "owns" the hood. Second, he said that he had "lent" the car but didn't have any idea where it was. Third, he threatened the reporter.

As I said, he better have a decent money trail. This ex-felon friend seemed to get back in business pretty fast.

I'm always amused when these punk felons drive around in 100K rides with the boomers going and expect to stay under the radar. Let's just embroider PacMan's nick on the headreast and put 5K wheels on the Lexus.

It never fails to amaze me how stupid these athletes are. Rather than just tell the reporter no comment and to stay off his property (which he wasn't) and lock the door, he tries to intimidate by threats...total genius.

This was no small bust. 680K in cash and 168 in coke and almost a ton of weed isn't a small matter. My guess is the PacMan lost some significant investment capital.

PacMan had a bad weekend. At a miminum, his Caddy was confiscated in a federal drug seizure, which means its gone forever, unless he wants to go bid on it at auction at some later date. At worst, he's looking at being charged as an accomplice in several felonies.
