Lois Lane Cast...

Oscar nominee Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in the Superman reboot.

The film's director, Zack Snyder, revealed to the Los Angeles Times that Adams received the news Sunday. After meeting with Adams, it was clear to the filmmaker that the Enchanted and The Fighter actress was "perfect" for the role of the dogged Daily Planet reporter and Man of Steel's love interest.

"It goes back to what I've said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What's important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today's audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance]," said Snyder.

Adams joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Viggo Mortensen is said to be circling the role of General Zod.

Non air brushed I don't find her that sexy. Beside the fact that Lois Lane should have dark hair.

I fully approve of the Amy Adams signing. Really liked how she filled out those pants in Night at the Museum 2.

again. annoying voice is Isla Fisher.

i find it surprising so many people mix the 2 up since Amy Adams is nowhere near as attractive. Isla Fisher isn't as talented and does have an annoying voice

Thank you! It was never her.

And Amy Adams made her voice annoying for the movie. Unless people still found her voice annoying in the Fighter.

Actually Isla Fisher was NOT in Enchanted. That was Amy Adams. Isla Fisher was the crazy chick Vince Vaughn nails in Wedding Crashers and is in Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Amy Adams was in Enchanted, The Fighter and Sunshine Cleaning amongst other things. Apparently she is going to be in the new muppet movie and is currently starring as Janis Joplin in a biopic about her, weird choice for Janis but okay.

yeah, I'm interested in Janis. I assume Adams got the role because of the singing, and she's got hair similar to Joplin's hair color, but it is wierd. Joplin had a typical 60s rock star lifestyle. Adams was raised a mormon, I think, and she's not really celebrity gossip like.

She is natural, no plastic boobies, beautiful face and red head (I am a sucker for a red head) to boot.
