89% of Germans do not believe official story about 9/11

A recent poll in the german magazine "Welt der Wunder" conducted by the well known Emnid Institute results in astonishing 89% of the german respondents not believing the official line 9/11. The magazine in 2010 already published the story of NATOs "secret nuclear war", where the consequences of the widespread use of depleted uranium ammunitions were explained.

Almots 40% of german citizens believe that there is some sort of secret world government. Even more think, the german government is criminal - an 50% are convinced that they are completely surveilled.

These are the result of a representative poll of 1005 men and women older tha 14 years of the Emnid Istitute - exclusively for the magazine.

The polling institute as well as the editors of the magazine are calling the result "scary and suprising".

Deep mistrust of that what politicians claim to be the truth is not a marginal phenomen. Almost 90 % of germans
are convinced, that the US- government ist not telling us the real truth about the attacks of 9/11, two thirds thinks the german government can be blackmailed.

"Such an widespread opinion is a strong warning for our politicians," says political scientist Nils Diederich, Professor at the Freie Universität Berlin. " I am appealing to the federal government to react."

Germans? I could care less what they think about 9-11 to tell you the truth. And just because they think something being left out, as in not the whole real truth, doesn't mean your version of what happened true. All it means is the think there is something they weren't told maybe. How you word a question has a lot to do with how it is answered.

Thought you'd like to get an update.

I'm on the road. Pulled into Shanksville a few hours ago -- where UAL 93 went down.

What a quaint little town. It's much nicer than I expected. The town of maybe 500 people sits in a hollow - a beautiful river swollen with snow melt runs through it.

I spent an hour at the high school and elementary school -- both are in adjoining buildings. Spoke with a half dozen teachers --after school -- about their experience on 9/11. The school is located 3 miles from the crash site. They said it was like an earthquake.

One teacher told me she felt the impact like a wave of energy moving through. It was also very very loud.

Tomorrow I will continue the interviews.
