Default Rashawn Woods (SP?)

Im not trying to spell these fancy black people names anymore, Im just going to go with the phoenetic spellings, forgive me.

Anyway, I have some questions. Most of you know my only source of College info is from my brother and he is a huge OSU fan so I try to take what he says about OSU players with a grain of salt (knowing what ahomer he is). Is he really that good? my brother is tootin this guys horn as ifhe is the next Jerry Rice. He was right about all our picks for the last three seasons (well this past year remains to be seen but he has good things to say about Pierce and said Foster will never start at LT for us and may be OOF in two years).. However, none of those players went to OSU and I am skeptical about his homerism.

If he is that good, he will go in the top 10 but I keep hearing through the internet grapevine (yes, we all know how reliable that is dont we?) that Woods will drop to around 15-25. If we do have a shot at him, and Im not saying we will but if we do, should we take him?

He is a very good WR. He runs routes with the best of them. He also is big and aggressive. With the WR class rumored to come out he will probably drop to the lower half of the first round.

See my sig, If we don't get Taylor (witch I'm certain we probably wont then I'd like to see us land Woods.) I think we would have an realistic shot at Woods in the first if we choose to go that route.

First off, it's RASHAUN WOODS. And this guy dominated the Big 12 early in his sophomore season. As for his makeup, Darkhawk made a small start, but left out the main reason he is so good.

Woods is a big receiver, and plays the game much like Randy Moss. He gets great seperation from the defender and is very physical. You throw the ball his way, he goes up and brings it down. I do however see him being overwhelmed in his first year in the NFL, but I think he'll develop into a solid wide receiver. I doubt he lasts to the Broncos pick in the draft however.

i think he is a great reciever. Not sure if he will be there around 20-25 though. If he's there id like to snatch him. Woods and Lelie, along with Madise as the no. 3 guy in the future looks good.

See Waffle, every thirtieth post you make sense but then you say something so Wafflish that you deserve to be on ignore. Thats why you are on ignore. On occasion I will read one of your posts and on occiasion you make sense but your bashing of Lelie is just moronic. This from the same guy that thought Griese was the NExt Montana your credibility is shot.

****ing idiot.

You believing that I "truly" thought Griese was the next Montana is the best prank I ever played. Classic! TJ should retire that user name. It's HOF material.

Reggie Williams is going to forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Yeah I don't expect Reggie to last to when we pick. The guy has a ton of talent he was never able to use at Washington. I know Denfan is quite high on him.

Reggie will be the best WR enterining the draft, Rashaun in 2nd, and Roy Williams being 3rd best.

Funny thing is, the exact opposite will happen in the draft, Roy will go first as a WR, Reggie second, and Rashaun after both.

Roy's a top 5, Reggie in the top 10, Rashaun anywhere from 8-20.

There are two Claytons (LSU and OU). I think NFL meant the one from LSU though.

I think the guy's name from OU is Mark Clayton. Actually, I would like to take him over Woods. Rashaun has never really impressed me in big games.

He absolutely stomped over Oklahoma last year, made Derrick Strait and the other CB look like High School kids out there.

Being in Big XII country, I get to see a lot of Big XII games, and let me tell ya...Woods is the real deal. This kid is scary good, but there is no way in hell he would fall to Denver unless we traded up in the draft.

As usual, CatsupBoy is wrong.

Woods has all the tools of a JJ Stokes. The problem is seperation at the next level.

Unless he can show 4.5 speed at the combine he will easily fall to denver.

Do we need a Marquis Walker?

Gotta have the wheels to run on the pro dragstrip.

He has everything else tho.

Since we will be picking 32 we won't get the prime meat.

Again, Mock hasn't really looked much at the draft yet.

Right now I like Ben Troupe or D. Hall.

223 yards on 11 receptions in a losing effort in the Cottonbowl?

Both records for Cottonbowl.

Tell me this guy is going to fall to Denver and I will tell you you are smoking crack.

I am just a bit worried about his speed.

That should not be a problem if Lelie progresses.

I have no clue where whe will draft, but we won't get the can't miss.

I only just made my top ten.

Woods would be a fine pick if he is there.

Lot's of critters at our spot still.

People worried about Terrell Owen's speed also, he turned out ok.

Ben Troupe is as fast as some wide receivers and has good hands. He will be an elite pass catching TE but needs to work on his blocking skills. I like this pick. He'll probably go in the first round.

I expect Rashaun Woods to go in the 2nd round. The earliest he will go is in the #20-25 range.

I would rather pick a DE, CB, or Ben Troupe. Maybe another LB if Wilson leaves.

I hate picking WRs in the first. Marcus Nash didn't work out.

WRS are unpredictable. You may get a Yatil Green, R. Jay Soward, Sly Morris, Freddie Mitchell, or Thomas Lewis. David Terrell isn't exactly lighting it up either. Would you even want to waste a #1 pick on somebody like Peter Warrick or Keyshawn Johnson?
