It was really only a matter of time, wasn’t it? Let’s take a look back at the show’s awful and short-lived life: The Half Hour News Hour: Still Not Funny Fox News 1/2 Hour News Hour Goes From Bad To Worse Half Hour News Hour - Still Waiting For The Funny http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/0...hour-canceled/ |

The idea of a conservative show that's funny is sort of an oxymoron, isn't it? |

The idea of putting a comedy show on a news channel was, in itself, funny. Someone didn't think this thing through...

Hey, Air America is still on the radio and I think some of their shows are pretty good. Randy Rhodes is always interesting.

I don't know what there definition of defunct is, but I always understood it to be something that no longer exists, is dead. |

The "assets" (shows) were picked up by another broadcasting company (Jones Broadcasting?) but they kept using the "Air America" brand in most markets. Stations changed in some markets - other markets were dropped altogether. |

It had it's moments ... maybe 2 or 3 funny jokes per episode.
It was funnier than that pr!ck Dennis Miller. He is SUCH a brown-nose of O'Reilly now ... I cannot believe I used to like him so much ![]() |

It was more mean-spirited than anything else....like most of the other programs on that channel.

re: the comedy value of FOX - I occasionally watch O'Rieley for the humor factor.. I find conservatives are funniest when they're not trying to be funny.
