Default When does this become football only again?

Technically, training camps have started around the leagues so when does this forum become football only.

Haha Spider.

First day of Denver training camp I thought was the rule.

Regardless, just post in the football threads, the others will die.

And remember when you click new posts it will show it all. I like poking my head into the politics everynow and then. Can't talk Bronco football all the time, just 99% of it.

Sorry but posts such as Battlepics, Earthlings, and what type of dog should I buy aren't my cup of tea. I'd rather just come to a place where it's solid Broncos talk. OrangeMane advertises it as such so it's not asking to much to expect it during the season.

I was kind of curious why nobody was talking about why we aren't signing J.Moss, but hey I guess picking out a poodle is more important.

It's a little hard to have solid Bronco talk when there isn't any...it will start...with the training camp reports...tomorrow!

Well if you don't like it over here there are other places. But I know once the season kicks in this is one of the best places for Broncos talk. However, we have been over everything 100 times so everything is overkill. If you don't want to read about a poodle or have some fun with battle pics then its pretty simple, DON'T OPEN THE DAMN THREAD. Its not rocket science.

As for Moss he is confident he will be reporting on Saturday. All the rest of our picks are signed. So that tells me that its just contract lingo and that will get sorted out overnight.

Come back Sunday after the morning session. Then you will get your fill.

That's what I like to hear and am looking forward to my first complete year here. It just gets frustrating trying to pick out the 1 or 2 Broncos related posts within tons of garbage.

I didn't mean to be offensive, but almost every forum I've been to has a Free for All OR Off Topic forum, why not here?

That's not really true, it does tend to pick up once the In season mode is in place.

Just a word of caution to the "totally 100% football" folk here. If you think the In Season mode is going to stop the appearance of threads devoted to the family issues of athletes/stars/politicans or other garbage like the gala awards on the main board, then you're in for quite a shock because at least 1/4 of the board totally ignores the rules when it comes to posting the right threads in the right forums. Prepare to be frustrated.

And most of those boards are dead in the off season. OMANE will kick into football stuff pretty soon, relax and enjoy the ride then. Beside OMANE is turning into a virtual community and off football threads are part of that process

Dude, seriously, you sound like a whining b****.

This board has an off-season mode where its free-for-all for the most part, everywhere.

When TC starts until the Superbowl, its on-season mode.

Now, you have two choices. Accept it, shut the **** up and quit being a p***Y, or leave. Quite frankly, if you leave that would be great since you seem to be one of those whining types no one wants around anyway.

Hey! Cut the crap out! It's my turn to be the grumpy guy. Your week is next week when the Broncos start making irrational changes and overlook key pickups that would positively impact their season.

I must be grumpy this morning to because I was thinking the same thing Alec posted. Props to those of you who said it "nicely" but I didn't feel better until I read Alec's post.

I dub Dragondawg off season poster of the year. He never complained, whimpered or whined and put up nothing but solid sports news the whole summertime while other posters sat around singing "Feed me Seymore."
Exactly! Looks like we have 3 grumps here today.

bmanhas, I think it was this one. If you notice, Alec nor anyone came down on you until after this one. Not one person said you had to read any of those threads. It's the offseason. You can only hash out what the team, singularly or as a whole, will do so many times it becomes repetitive. As has been pointed out TC begins tomorrow and I think you'll be pleased at what you get on this site.

wow gunns, if that's what they took offense too then i guess that's a rookie mistake and so be it, didn't know they were that sensitive.

Lol, to say something isn't my cup of tea is a bash, jeez.......touchy crowd.

But I look forward to training camp and the season. Thanks for the headsup.

Sensitive? Hardly. Ignorant (the season doesn't start before training camp) and elementary school attempts at humor and condescending posts don't often go unnoticed here though.

Again, review the thread, you'll see who is ignorant.

I will stick to what I said, all I asked is when the football talk starts. Certain people decided to go off on a tangent. Good for them, but reeks of being oversensitive to me.

Usually somebody posting in response to being oversensitive is the first sign of being oversensitive......

Here's some "rookie" advice........let it go, move on.
