Mock was seen at a near by liquor store trying to buy 40 cases of beer for the picnic. He was arguing with the clerk who was refusing to take farm credits in payment for the beer.

Only mock could buy 40 cases of beer while in a coma. That's impressive.

The thread was moved due to the jabs at Mock at a time when the Mane community has just received news (unverified as yet, but could very well be true) that Mock has a serious health issue and is fighting for his life. Not a joking matter. Sorry if some disagree, but the timing of this thread was not ideal.... and I seriously doubt that anyone will leave the forum because this thread was moved.

Blue, I was in agreement with baja 'til I read that.... tell us more please. Or make some kind of announcement.

The new info is all on the "Where's Mock" thread... if this thread was just about -Slap- (or any other poster who's known to be healthy and well), then I would have left it on the main board, but it seemed inappropriate to leave it there after Mock was brought into it.

Blue you know I like you, always have.

First off I never said people would leave the forum because of this, I said actions like this have soured people and I believe that is what you have seen.

As to Mock the comments, they are not jabs but playful remembrances of some of my favorite posters here including Mock. There is nothing out of line with any of these posts.

I truly believe Mock would (will) enjoy the friendly remembrances, I know I would.

The thread was started in hopes to generate some light hearted witticisms that may break the ice and get some of those folks back here.

I think you way over reacted. Just my opinion.

It's entirely possible that I did over-react... but somehow the way some were joking about Mock on this thread, as I said above, just seemed inappropriate in light of the rumor that he's been in a coma for a month.

I'm all for "lightening the mood" on the board, for the record... and can't wait for more Broncos news to focus us all back on what we're really here for (love of the Broncos) and off trivial differences of opinion.

BTW If you ever find out I am seriously ill please allow all the joking about me that anyone would care to post.

It would make me feel good to know I was remembered!

There were only three posts about Mock and they were all humorous.

The only one that you could possibly be concerned with is this;

Pat Bowlen, "Only mock could buy 40 cases of beer while in a coma. That's impressive."

I really think Mock would laugh his ass off at that cause it's funny.

'Noone' here wishes Mock any ill will.

The question is... would his relatives understand posts joking about him if they did stop by to give us an update? I'm not certain they would, under the circumstances.

Blue, now that I have had a chance to get caught up on the 'Where is Mock' thread I agree that it is for the best to put this thread here for now.

I'm glad that you understand why I moved it, Baja. It wasn't personal at all; just the timing was unfortunate.

Hopefully Mock will make a complete recovery and come back here to tell us all what dimwits we are.

I just figured this thread was moved to the butt because it has become irrelevant due to Slap's return to the site.
