Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos QB Jake Plummer wants to play in 2007, and has no intention, according to his agent, of retiring. Also, the last time Legwold spoke with him, he said he intended to not just play in 2007, but to be a starter somewhere.

According to Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, it's looking like Denver Broncos WR Rod Smith will be the No. 3 wideout behind WR Javon Walker and WR Brandon Marshall for the 2007 season.

I have not seen it posted anywhere. Thanks for the update. I had to chuckle though b/c what it basically said is that the Broncos "might target" the entire list of available D-Linemen. I love off-season speculation!

Basically Lee Rasizer looked at the FA DL that he wanted and said Denver might be interested in them. Great reporting.

I would like them to sign White, but I don't know if they can really afford him. Scott would be nice too. I view them as starters. It would be great if they could sign a DE and a DT and that way, wouldn't have to necessarily count on a rookie DL to have to start and produce right away, but how realistic this is, not sure.

I guess it'll all depend on how many contracts they can restructure and how many maybe take less than they could get someplace else to sign with the Broncos.
