OK, here is the poll. Listed are the known away games for 2007 NFL schedule for the Broncos. Which game would you be interested in? You can pick more than one choice.
(Dont worry. I am not starting a tailgate thread in January. Maybe February but not January!) Last edited by broncocalijohn; 12-19-2006 at 06:12 AM.. |

Indy's got a mall right next to the stadium (if you're bringing someone), nice hotels, and a great blues bar (The Slippery Noodle - Rated best blues bar in the US). It's one of my favorite "small" cities.

Does wildcard weekend in NE count for 2007 ? I really hope it doesn't happen (since we always lose to you guys) but it is looking more and more like Broncos in Foxboro for Wildcard weekend has a chance. I have my 5 year old son (shown in Avatar a few weeks back before his first game) training to take down the orange pimp.

My next road trip will be to Nawlins in '08. I believe they are on our schedule again that year. Haven't been there since Mike shredded the turf in the dome!

Man I'm beat .I haven't posted for a while (for reasons some of you already know) but also because I haven't watched a Patriots game on TV since October 30th because I've gone to EVERY SINGLE GAME since then home and away (7 in a row) and I'm tired. I will be more than glad to watch the Jax game on TV this sunday. If Broncos Patriots happens I will try to set up AK1971 and Broncocalijohn first and you and the wife second. Although I don't know how much more pain I can take from seeing my team lose to the Broncos.

I'd LIKE to go to Houston, Chicago and Kansas City. We'll see. It will depend on when these games fall...

Exactly. I would put the same poll up once the schedule hits in April. Chicago is most appealing if the game is in September; Better weather and either the Cubs or Sox will be home that weekend. I like combing two sports with one trip.

Every time I go out to Diego, I fall in love with the place a bit more.....and with John on the ground there, it's always an away game option. I was thinking Houston next year for someplace different...Alec is on the ground there and has proven to be more than reliable in the past. It's that "person on the ground" thing that makes the trips work. Chicago for instance is a pretty rough city, if you don't know what you're doing or where to go, etc...it could be disasterous. I'd love to check it out, but without that ground person in place...forget it. There's not much to choose from elsewhere on that list. |

I'd like to go to San Diego and Chicago. I live closest to San Diego so it wouldn't be as long of a trip and I have a friend from Chicago who could show me around the city.

Its looking like the Jets game will be another away game next year.
I did that one many years ago. Good time, in NY. Chicago, Indy and Detroit: Only if Sep or early Oct. I enjoyed the warm weither in AZ too much to plan a cold away game. Mile High is enough for me in the cold. |

Depends on where they fall...San Diego was a blast...we weren't going to do that one again but...
possibly Houston? I wouldn't mind Chicago or Indy...but we need people that can get us good tickets and we don't do cold! ! Of course, the KC @ Denver game!Last edited by Sassy; 12-19-2006 at 05:34 PM.. |

we were talking about this after the game on Sunday.... I'm thinking that San Diego may be our big away game next year but Chicago is also appealing - especially if baseball is still going on...

One thing worth mentioning about coming to Chicago for football. The Bears' have one of the highest priced tickets in the NFL. Face value for upper deck between the 20-yd lines was $75 this year. Scalping-wise, I was able to sell my four tickets to the Bears - Bucs game (40 yd. line, upper deck, row 19) for $195 each to help finance the AZ trip!
Your best bet is ticketmaster the minute tickets go on sale - especially if they make it to the NFC Championship game or better. Most fans will go for gold - Bears vs. Packers. With luck, you can get seats in the upper deck for face value. |

Count me out on the playoff game vs Pats if it happens. Wife wasnt very happy on me going away this last weekend to AZ. 7 Games in a row- very nice. Yes, Ludo needs warm weather. I like Houston idea because group tickets might be had through the team and Kubiak factor. Billy and BroncoSteven are in the Chi town area but getting tickets is a concern. Us season ticket holders can put our name in through the team to get tixs but that is never known until week of game (their tixs are used for players family first). History and partial new stadium in Chicago makes that a possible game to attend. Plus, wife has her family there so money saved on hotel rooms. We will have to wait for the schedule for many of these games but SD is always a go!
