Default OT: Had to brag on my boy

Sorry to take up bandwith but had to brag on my son. This is my fifth year coaching youth football and the first year my son is a starter. He's playing QB and LB. We run as much from QB as we do from tailback. He got his first TD today, busted a fifty yarder around the left side early, than got another one early in the third. Ended up gettin pulled from the game at the end of the 3rd after the 25 point rule came into place. It was pretty cool watching him go in for the score. With the little guys I get to go out on the field with them to call the offense so I got the up close view. It was awesome.... Sorry to brag but I'm proud of him. I'm sure you parents on here understand

Congratulations! My kids are both in their first year and I'm having a blast. Good luck.

*I didn't notice you were also in California. My kids play up North of you. We live just off of I-5, South of Redding.

Thanks. You'll enjoy it. It's pretty cool to see how much they change as they go through the year. I've coached a lot of different sports now and nothing compares to the changes in the kids as they go through the year in football. Good luck to you and your kids.

I'm in Atascadero which is just North of San Luis Obispo.

My son's O-Line coach was talking to him today about sticking with it through High School because the kids he plays with are really good. They could go for the State Championship some day if they all hang together. My son was pretty impressed with the idea.
