Give me a quick update guys/gals....I've missed my OM fix for the last week. What's happening around here?

Cooper Carlisle reneged on going to the Ratbirds and is staying here. We continue to strike out on other FAs however although we have signed a couple punters, including bringing back Jason Baker for a summer competition. Gus turned us down for Miami. The Seahawks offered Kelly Herndon a fairly lucrative 5 year 15 million dollar contract that we are highly unlikely to match. We still are having major problems finding another team that wont laugh at us when we ask for what seems like any compensation for Trevor. We are in a two team race to sign the recently released and very talented, fairly young but extremely injury prone defensive end Courtney Brown of (formerly) Cleveland. He is said to be deciding soon between us and Washington. The Redskins have offered him a incentive based contract as a guard against continued health problems. Denver has promised him a starting spot and Jake Plummer has very admirably restructured his contract for the second time this offseason to free up some more room for us. We are now approximately 3.3 million under the cap. I think thats pretty much it from the last week, not sure though.

Don't worry sassy, that's just a tiny bug that lives in the sand that loves to eat at your Cornea on it's way to your Retina. You might want some eye drops for that.

It's weird. I have no rash or bite marks...
I've had pink eye before...my eyes aren't red or goopy this time.
