Dear hockey gods,
Please forgive me for whatever it is that I have done. You are playing a cruel trick on me. All last year I watched the Kings’s battling each night in looks that the King’s would make the playoffs. Also, I was being led to believe that Deader and Ally would recover from injury and the LAPD would reform. Then all of a sudden, the team started losing player after player to injury. In the end, the team went on their longest winless streak. You torture me with tied games and the team losing many games by one goal. The team did not make the playoffs and Deader and Ally never played a in game. I watch Game 7 of the Stanley Cup championship game and at the end of the game I wondered when and CBA would come and when I would see another NHL game. Once the CBA expired, I heard the sad news that negotiations could go on for up to two seasons. It seemed this would be the case after the mid-December meetings. With the NHLPA and NHL not being able to see eye to eye, the 2004-2005 season was canceled this last week. Now, news is spreading that an new CBA agreement is forthcoming. How dare you mock me? Please stop this. I’ll take back all the comments I made about Modry and his purse swinging antics, Roman and his unibrow, Andy Murray and his goat mouth, and Holland when he skated backwards. I’ll do anything…stop tormenting me. Sincerely, Itsgood2bthekings |

Um it's because of the Avalanche that we are in the lockout. Small-market teams are so fed up with the Avs success so they are sending a message to Colorado.

Colorado should have gotten an expansion team just like Minnesota, Atlanta, Nashville, and Columbus have. The fact the Avs got a Stanley Cup built team has pissed a lot of people off hence why everyone hates the Avalanche.
I am not even sure why Colorado even had a NHL team in the first place. The Rockies did not even sellout in their final days there hence why they moved to New Jersey. BTW, check out this site: http://www.divealanche.com/ |

I am a Kings fan, Bronx. That's why I even responded to that thread.
Oh and at least the Red Wings won the Cup the right way like the Devils. Even the Divealanche web site has said the Avs are the reason for this lockout. |

LMAO! go plan your next financial move based on what the dive says you should do, its a redwings fans opinion and yes thats who owns and runs it a disgruntled/jealous redwings fan.You have yet to make a valid point about anything other than your opinion. |

The webmaster, Pierre, is not even a Red Wings fan. He is more of a bitter Nordiques fan. He is a Canadian. I know because I email him a lot.

Brian Burke, former Canucks GM, has been mouthing off the Avalanche spending over the years and he warned that type of stuff could cause a lockout within the small-market owners. He wasn't kidding.

The Avs overspending? The AVS? I hope you don't consider yourself a hockey fan. How bout the number 1 culprit, the Rangers? There are 4 or 5 other teams that have a higher payroll than the Avs. Detroit, Philly, etc. You don't even want to know what most of us here think about Brian Burke, buddy. |
